Weight loss injections with a stone to lose

I am just looking for abit of advice from those who have used weight loss injections to lose a small amount of weight. I’ve done really well in losing a fair amount on my own, I go to the gym roughly 3 times a week (weights based) but I’ve got this stubborn 1/1.5 stone that I just cannot shift.
I am considering using a weight loss pen to get that last little bit… but I wondered if it would actually work on smaller amounts of weight?
i understand they aren’t complete miracle workers & I could put it back on however I feel I am in a good place with my exercise & a high protein diet I think there’s just always a little part in the back of my brain that’s like you deserve a bit of chocolate / sweet treat etc that’s hampering my success.
For reference I am 5ft4 & around 11stone 7.

thanks!

Depends wether they would dispense to you

What's your BMI? You need a consultation first, you can't just buy a pen

I think your BMI has to be at a certain level before you can get it. It’s not an off the shelf thing at Boots.

Yes I know you need to talk to a pharmacist & they need to dispense, I am in the ‘overweight’ category with some weight related problems in which you need to have a BMI of over 27 which mine is… thanks though

Most won't dispense at less then a BMI of 30.

I think it’s a good idea, it would help you stay in a calorie deficit to lose the last bit, then hopefully as you’re in a good zone then you will be able to eat within maintenance calories and keep it off. The last stone is always the worst to lose so a little help wouldn’t be the worst thing!

Your BMI is around 27, so you wouldn't get prescribed, unless you have one of the other conditions that mean you're eligible.

These medications aren't designed for losing a small amount of weight.

What is your plan once you have lost the final stone. Will you stay on the injections to stop the cravings forever? I think you need to address the underlying issue causing the cravings as when you stop the injections you will just regain the weight unless you are prepared to stay on them forever.
