Thanks @Newme24

Another little win - my scales show that my metabolic age has reduced from 65 to 64 (I’m 58 😁) and my BMI is down from 32 to 30.5, so soon I’ll be overweight and not obese.

I had a mooch around M&S yesterday and think they’ve really upped their game clothes wise (although I was disappointed with the Sienna Miller collection). I’m so looking forward to getting a new wardrobe by the end of the year.

Batlady78 · 19/07/2024 09:23

I've did my second 5mg jab yesterday but I'm really not feeling anywhere near as much suppression. Anyone else experienced this?

SarahB88 · 19/07/2024 09:26

There’s some really amazing loses going on and NSVs! Well done everyone 🥳

Greyrockin · 19/07/2024 09:38

I purchased a smart tape measure 3 weeks ago and am really happy with my inch loss in 3 weeks, with nearly 5 inches off my waist!

Greyrockin · 19/07/2024 09:40

I am GUTTED…ok that’s a bit of a dramatic overreaction 😂

Weigh day, I weighed yesterday and was 13.13.5 so was feeling super hopeful about today…. Weighed this morning at 14.1! So have maintained this week.

Obviously still done brilliantly but I did want to see a 13 (for more than a day!)

Callmejudith · 19/07/2024 10:47

@JomonotFomo forget today’s! Take yesterday’s!

JomonotFomo · 19/07/2024 11:36

@Callmejudith good plan!!

Summerheels · 19/07/2024 11:42

@Newme24 & @Greyrockin thats brilliant loses & it’s so nice to just feel good about yourself too

Just unexpectedly bought a pair of size 14 jeans whoop! Wasn’t looking but thought I’ll try some on but the 16 was baggy on the bum so my teen found the 14s. I’ve not worn a size 14 anything for 5years!

Summerheels · 19/07/2024 11:44

@JomonotFomo i stalled last week then lost 3lbs this week and actually ate a bit more as I was hungry. I think my body just needed and extra 300c to drop again. Hang in there.

Newme24 · 19/07/2024 11:47

@Summerheels woohoo. Size 14 is incredible. You must be so happy. That's my interim goal. To fit into size 14's. Massive well done to you 👏👏

ChynaS · 19/07/2024 13:40

Went to order my next batch from P2U are it was really expensive so went with Zava using someones code, a nice save, thankyou. My code if anyone would like to use it is: REF5XQQD7Z

Greyrockin · 19/07/2024 13:52

Just received 5mg pen from Zava and not impressed tbh. The pen was sent out on the 15th July and arrived with ice packs completely melted and the packaging feels lukewarm. Packing note says 4mm needles are included, but the needles are 6mm length.

Not sure what to do about the pen? it's not exactly warm, but it's not cool either and yesterday and today have been quite warm where I am. It should have arrived at least 2 days ago.

Zava is usually great but I think Royal Mail technical faults have affected them. I've ordered from them twice now and usually get my pen the next day but my most recent order has taken a few days - I've since gotten an email from Royal Mail apologising, so I think they might be the issue.

I've messaged them anyway and asked for a refund. I went with them for the discount, but will stick with Med Express and bear the extra cost. I am saving money on takeaways and lattes so should be okay 😀

I'm carrying on with 2.5 for a few weeks anyway so should be okay, just annoying that the problems they've had with getting pens to customers haven't been ironed out.

Snozzlemaid · 19/07/2024 15:24

Does the label on the pen box say 15th?
Mine was approved and apparently sent then but arrived yesterday with 17th on the label so clearly not actually packaged until Wednesday.
Mine was still cold thankfully.

WeAllHaveWings · 19/07/2024 15:39

Batlady78 · 02/07/2024 14:29

Anyone - when you extract the bonus dose with an insulin needle, do you use the same needle to inject it in you? Or is the needle blunted from going through the stopper?

@Batlady78 I am due to try my first 5th dose tomorrow, I am going to try the hard twist method, but have insulin syringe ready if hard twist doesn't work and I am nervous about a blunt needle.... Did you try it and was it ok?

The label actually says 18/07/24 - but the tracking is as follows - which has now confused me? So it may have been mailed out yesterday? It wasn't fridge temp when it arrived though and I wasn't planning on using it for another 4 or 5 weeks. I think guidelines are use within 30 days of date of despatch if it arrives warmer than fridge temp?

Greyrockin · 19/07/2024 15:41

I'm struggling to add images, but tracking says:

despatched 15/07/24
received at hub 18/07/24
delivered 19/07/24

Their cold packing is rubbish if it was actually despatched from Zava yesterday though?

The needle is so tiny that you won't realise it's been through the bung, trust me.

I've done it twice now.

Yes. Thankfully mine was still cold and ice pack still a bit icy.
But if yours wasn't I'd contact them.

Hi
If you contact Med Express and ask them to price match (which they promise to do) to Care Pharmacy who offer 2.5mg at £119 delivered... That would be the same price as Zava with a code and you keep Med Express quality of packaging and delivery.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 19/07/2024 18:38

I just composed a huge message tagging you all in at relevant parts and lost the lot. Hmm

Essentially it basically said you're all doing amazing. We are all strangers but the support here is great, especially for those of us doing this covertly. Proud of you all!

Anyway, off camping so will check in when back.

Thanks for the reminder @Happycyclist, I'd forgotten about Med Express price matching.

@Sewfrickinamazeballs I always get lost halfway through a post trying to tag everyone and say well done 🤦‍♀️ but yes I concur! Well done everyone! Also is the sun making everyone wish they'd started in January and not June! 👙🙏
