Ordering mounjaro abroad (europe)

I've been reading and researching Mounjaro for a couple of months now. My weight has been slowly creeping up since I had ds 3 years ago, and my bmi is now 31 so officially in the obese category Blush tried multiple diets, and exercise but I lose a couple of kg and it quickly goes back on. I'm also on 75mg of venlafaxine and have been for around 4 months now which has contributed to weight gain.

I live in Portugal, and usually use transport companies to order from the UK. Wondering if anyone knows or has experience with ordering the injections abroad. We have to fill out a form and declare what is being sent along with the delivery. I used to order medications (cold, flu meds etc as much cheaper from home) from boots and have them sent, but that was before Brexit and the form filling.

Thanks in advance for any knowledge!

Being a prescription medication, it cannot be prescribed and sent abroad. You also need a GP in this country for them to notify. Sorry, I know that's not the answer you wanted.

Ahh bummer, I did think that may be the case. It's not available here and doesn't look to be any time soon either.
Thanks for your reply though

Mounjaro may not be available but check if Ozempic is.
A friend of mine is Portuguese and was getting it sent over to the UK before it was available here. She is a clinician so has lots of medical friends and I don't know if she was getting it through approved channels or unofficially though

Op, I live in the Middle East and have my Mounjaro prescribed by a UK online pharmacy. It’s a very simple. You contact them and fill in the questionnaire provided and they then give it to one of their Drs who’ll decide if you’re suitable for the medication or not. Once you’ve been approved the Mounjaro is sent by DHL and it takes a couple days to arrive. It’s very quick and the ice packs haven’t completely thawed when it arrives, probably down to the wadding they wrap everything up in as well as the heavy duty carton it’s in. DHL take care of all the paperwork (it’s strict about such things where I live) and in the 5 months I’ve been on the medication it’s been plain sailing. The only drawback could be the cost and I currently pay 300 pounds per month per pen and I believe 60 pounds of that goes to DHL - again, for me, it’s worth it and not just because I’d be paying 400 pounds per month where I live.

Recently a friend signed up with them from a different part of the world and the staff told me they send it to many countries outside of the UK.

would you like me to send you the contact details by private message?

Oh and I was also told here that it wasn’t possible etc etc etc to get the mounjaro unless UK based but it’s not true.
