When do you inject

Hi,

It's arrived today and in the fridge, when do you inject? Morning? Evening?

Also, when did you find it kicked in? How quickly after doing the injection?

I inject on Friday evenings. My appetite was gone by the Saturday morning after my first injection.

I did my first injection on a Wednesday lunchtime (because that's when it arrived and I was impatient for it). To me, it felt like it had kicked in by dinner time that night.

You might feel a bit tired/ headachey after the first injection so I'd recommend you do it in the evening, or at a time when you can have a little lie down afterwards.

I also recommend taking it out of the fridge 60 mins before so it's not freezing cold when you inject it (just for comfort!)

It kicks in quite quickly - within a few hours.

I used to inject on Saturday, but have decided to move to Monday as I would prefer to have a bit of an appetite on the weekend! But I'm on a higher dose so my appetite is barely there at the moment.

When starting out, Friday is good if you don't want to be hungry on the weekend. Also good to inject on Friday if you are worried about side effects. So you have the weekend if it's bad.

I do Thursday evening so it kicks in for the weekend

Friday 5 pm ish

I've only done two injections though, so early days and very little in the way of symptoms.

Monday evening as I wfh on a Tuesday & Wednesday and wanted to be at home if I had any side effects.
It didn't kick in fully for me for a couple of weeks. Some of the food noise went from about day two but it was a while for appetite suppression to really be a factor.
