Needles bending

Just took my first ever shot. Worried I haven't done it right, it felt cold , but the needle kept bending and breaking? Luckily I had a few in the box. Is this normal? They are so delicate .

Disclaimer that I haven't ever had weight loss injections, but I've had several medications in the past that were self-administered subcutaneous injections, which I assume is also the case here?

If so then no, I wouldn't expect the needle to bend or break. It sounds as though perhaps you didn't take the needle out at the same angle it went in at, or were otherwise moving it around quite a bit while/after doing the injection?

Not to worry, you'll get the hang of it!

Thankyou, I thought I'd done it wrong!

The needle should not come close to bending or breaking. I've never had that happen once in 7 months. Are you following the instructions?

I think so, they just seem so delicate x
