Please help- mounjaro wearing off after a couple of days of suppression

Hi everyone, just after some advice.

I've moved up to 5 mg and it's wearing off so quickly. A couple of days - maximum 3 days.

What can I do to make it last longer ?

I injected on Saturday and by Monday, I was hungry again.

I've stopped losing weight.

My next dose is Saturday - could I just take it today ?

Where are you injecting? I find best results from the stomach, least effective in my thigh.

That completely defeats the object of paying for help.

If I could just ' accept being hungry ' etc, I wouldn't need it in the first place.

My metabolism is shot, I need to eat very very very little in order to lose weight. So little, that I just can't do it on my own. I've tried for the last 5 years to do it on my own and I cannot.

I need to try and make it more effective somehow.

Yes I'm injecting in my thigh, to avoid side effects !

I haven't had any negative side effects at all form mounjaro, but when I was using Wegovy and only injecting in my stomach - I was a mess.

I've only ever injected MJ in my thigh or arm.

I'm worried now to inject 5 mg in my stomach. Maybe I should do 2.5 in my thigh and 2.5 in my stomach, as I don't want to get really ill.

I agree with a PP, you have to work with the medication not just expect it to do all the work. 5mg is the 2nd level titration dose yes? Well you have further to go yet to be stable on the level dose you are only just starting out, are you a few weeks in? You are expecting too much. You don’t just get the full effect on the low loading doses this is not how it works. You should follow the directions of use and not start making up your own dosing schedules.
