Not lost anything on Mounjaro - anyone else?

2 weeks in on 2.5mg, worked amazingly well for suppression (I have to make myself eat!) and consequently have eaten much less/more healthy things than previously...the scales aren't moving though! Anyone else?
Was expecting a big loss week 1, even if it was just water loss, and am a bit gutted to be honest...

Oh wow. What an amazing loss OP. I found this post after a disappointing first week loss. Very motivating.

Thank you @hopelessbusiness I'm just starting out and this thread is really encouraging to read. I need to accept that slow and steady is the way. And that its not linear! Well done, I hope you are feeling very happy and healthy!

@JuJuL thank you! Just an update for anyone who's interested - I'm about 2kg off target now, hoping to get there very soon. That'll be 4st in total which would not have been possible without mounjaro. I feel fantastic and happy in my own skin for the first time in years.
Good luck to you and anyone else about to embark on their journey x

So good to read this, thank you. I’m only on week 3, and the effects have been subtle so far to say the least! Although my IBS is 100% better, which is like a miracle. So clearly something is happening. I’ll keep the faith!

I have been on since November and the loses were very slow to begin with, and I didn’t really start to lose anything of significance until towards the end of Dec. It helped so much with the food noise which is what I needed. Gentle walks and keeping protein high helps no end but I do struggle. I am on last week of 12.5 before I go up again.

Hard to say really. Low carb high protein in the main, not really calorie counted but probably 1000-1200 per day. I also don't eat til lunchtime now so intermittent fasting - MJ makes this bit so easy!
No workouts as such but have started walking more and have joined a salsa class. I figure any changes have to be enjoyable to be sustainable!
I'm hovering around 70kg now, target is 68. This gives me a BMI of 26.7 currently which is (disappointingly) still considered overweight by Voy! Then again I'm sure most Mumsnetters would consider me obese at 70kg and dress size 12...!
Are people nicer to me? Good question. I think I'm seen/heard a bit more, which is sad - have had the 'invisible middle aged woman' thing going on for some time and unfortunately losing weight has lessened that - not in a male attention way, but I've just felt I'm seen as more 'important' and 'valuable' at a lower weight. It could be my increased confidence that's effecting the change though so it's hard to tell.
As regards maintenance, I'm going to be guided by my provider (Voy) who have been excellent throughout and will probably taper down before stopping which gives you the best long term results apparently.
Sorry for the ramblings, I hope all this made sense!
