My friend had this dress in 2008. Pretty much all you could get then were strapless dresses like these. I wasn't a fan then and I'm still not keen now.

Thanks ladies. It was a dress I liked back in 2010, so absolutely it is years old. I'm now opting for the boho, dress, with lace on the arms and the back x

Ha. I bought my dress in 2010 (married the following year) and definitely a lot of dresses at the time were just like that

I was extremely unusual for shunning strapless at the time.

These days I mostly seem to be going to the weddings of friends' DC and as a guest in the church etc the ones i like best are those with a great back view, whether it's a cut out panel or panels, lots of beautiful small buttons or just a nice amount of detail in the design. And no veil. The last one I went to the bride just forgot about her veil and left it at home. Her dress was perfect without it.
Just saying!

Quite dated but as probably fashionable about 20 years ago.

It looks a bit heavy and stiff and uncomfortable. Youll be messing pulling that up

This is beyond ugly, the trousers are see through and really ill fitting and there's about three different shades of white going on.

It reminds me of fondant icing that's melting.
It's kind of dated looking. I prefer a more boho style personally.

I think it’s a bit dated

Doesn’t work. Unflattering and not special enough. Would look awful on anyone over size 12, with those unforgiving trousers! Only a dress will do. Imo, no low cleavage, must have sleeves, or shoulders covered.
