@ohyoubadbadkitten do you have any thoughts yet on Storm Kathleen? I'm meant to be driving across Wales to Birmingham on Saturday and am wondering whether I should consider rescheduling. Thank you so much as always!

Thanks @Cumulonimbusincus . Haven’t heard from him today, but that is actually protocol, yesterday was the exception. They’re supposed to be camping in Llanthony tonight, then they’ll be up to Offa’s Dyke tomorrow and moving south along that ridge to come down just north of Abergavenny. At least some sun forecast for tomorrow afternoon although the Storm-after-Kathleen is meant to be getting going then!
Honestly I don’t think the organisers were expecting this for April!

I'm afraid I'm going to be around very little indeed over the next few weeks and I've not had chance to look properly. (for those who don't know Kathleen was named by Met Éireann officially)

I hope you are ok, take care x

Well DS survived, came home knackered with tales of mud, mud and more mud. The organisers changed all the routes so they didn’t go up on the hills at all, it was far too windy. Which meant they trod the paths lower down that were just quagmires, and slept the second night in a damp field in the pouring rain. Not what they imagined for April.
