Saturday 8th July Thunderstorms watch.

WMids: cloudy and close but nothing yet here but things are kicking off elsewhere.

None in Central Scotland. Raining and dark with rumbles of thunder but nothing drastic.

We’ve travelled from Leicester to North Wales today. Stopped at a National Trust place near Wrexham and heard a few rumbles of thunder but had torrential rain near Mold. Metoffice is forecasting a lot of thundery stuff for this area tomorrow so we’ll see…

Just passing over here in Notts now. Got drenched nipping out to the bins!

Nothing here in East Anglia - still hot and humid

Nothing in East London, but the air feels absolutely rancid. Hot, damp, muggy, every smell magnified times ten, skin crawling level of humid. It has been much hotter this summer but this is the most unpleasant evening by far.

The whole of London needs one.

Especially our part. The party over the bac has been going on for ten hours now and I'd rather like it to stop now.

Very impressive storm over South Yorkshire for at least last 30 mins. Torrential rain, thunder and whole sky lightening.

We’re nearby in Malham, we’re camping…

Had one big flash earlier in Tunbridge Wells then some average rain but nothing since. Been very muggy all day.

Pretty much all day here in my pocket of Yorkshire and at the moment because it's so dark very spectacular!

Nothing in my part of Herts, horribly muggy though. Nothing showing on the lightning map so I don’t think we’ll be troubled tonight

There was absolutely nothing in the essex / london border, apart from rain that as soon as hit the ground was dry how very disappointing

More thunder here in Lancashire at the moment, preceded by sudden high wind, and then more heavy rain. I'd was just finishing planting a few things so they should be thoroughly watered in at least!

We had loads forecast for Cornwall this morning... And none appeared. Muchos disappointing!

Was in Lancaster for yesterday's storms, and now back home in Manchester enjoying this one. It's a better!

Bit concerned as Dh is travelling on m56/m6/m4 this evening so will be in the minds of it.
