There is definitely thunderstorms where I am in North Yorkshire.

Nothing in Cheshire yet! We had thunderstorms a few days ago with torrential rain. I hate thunder. I'm a wuss and worry that my house will be struck 😂. My friend's house was struck and it damaged her roof and she said the noise was horrific. I would have literally pooped my pants 🫢

Kent. Humid 27 degrees. No sign of anything.

We’ve now got heavy rain but before that came we had thunder for about 10 minutes and it was constant with no break, and very dark skies. I’ve never heard thunder like that before, you usually get periodic rumbles but this was just constant and at first I thought it was a plane (we are near an airport). But Flightradar showed no planes in the air at all.

Biblical near me about an hour ago. I was driving dd back from a friend's house which is 5 minutes away on roads I use every day and had to pull the car over. I couldn't see a thing. Huge hail stones were setting off all the car alarms.

I don't think I've seen so much rain fall in one go ever. The roads were a few inches deep with water in most places. The thunder rumbled pretty much constantly for about 20-30 minutes. NW near the North Wales border.

NW coast here, heavy rain, thunder and lightening finally started after skies darkening the last hour. I've been watching lighteningmaps. and it was cool to see the sky light up and then it show almost immediately on the map.

Lancashire - just had a bit of thunder and lightning and now a deluge.

It's hit a house here in Crewe. Flash and immediate bang - blew off some tiles.
10 mins walk away from me.
