Sorry to do a hit and run. Just spotted www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/warnings-and-advice/uk-warnings#?date=2022-10-05 It could be a little wild.
Will try to update tomorrow!

An excellent day for me to fly into the sw then! Hmm

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/11/2022 10:33

It looks like the worst of this winds won't be realised thankfully.

It’s windy enough for me. 😂

More warnings out for tomorrow. The south coast is certainly getting its fair share of gales and rain at the moment.

The East Midlands says the South Coast can keep that rain for the foreseeable future, thanks. We don't need anymore.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 23/11/2022 21:26

I think the south coast, especially Sussex would like to take a pass too. Maybe northern East Anglia could take it on. They have the Fens and whatnot, loads of storage for extra water. Wink

Unhelpfully I'd deleted the link.

Some squally weather making its way across the UK, with marked squall lines developing. Some potential for pretty nasty gusts along these. Take care with trees already weakened from previous wind and waterlogged soil.

Thank you OYBBK.

Furries · 24/11/2022 18:08

Think the squall is passing over North East Essex right now! Hopefully won’t last to long 🤞🏻

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/11/2022 19:58

You're welcome! Some nice clear skies behind it, so a good night for stargazing.

Squall line, that's the one, I posted on the wrong thread about it crossing. Brought us ridiculous amounts of rain more than anything else.

Anyway, now I have no electricity and am bored. Very excited that my solar lamp has charged nicely and is working well though. Fortunately (forewarned by either OYBBK or netweather) I made sure all my devices were well charged and Mr EE obviously has a better electricity supply for his 4G. Did I mention I was bored?
