Heating up this week

Looks like Wed, Thur, Fri could be heating up quite a bit in some parts of the UK. I am in Surrey and one weather app is showing 30 degrees for Friday 17th June 2022.

Any tips for keeping home cool? I think having lots of airflow in the evening and early morning, then closing up tight can help but may get stuffy inside.

Now it feels like heat is building
i'll be amazed if I wake up tomorrow and it's cooler.

We hit 30C yesterday (Leicester) and it's now 17.2C with rain due to start from 8am for much of the day.
Looks like it's going to heat up again, especially for the south, from Tuesday onwards next week.

The temperature plummeted here yesterday evening. It is currently 12 degrees with a forecast high of 16 degrees and rain today.

Still never been remotely what I would call 'warm' in Fife.......19c one day?

Pretty grim week for those of us in overinsulated flats (London)

I did know that last week, but it's depressing to have it confirmed, as all forecasts now do.

Not here. We are North of the storm area. I love a good thunderstorm as well.
