Just in case we need this early next week

It snowed for a few moments here in Kent. I got all excited then it had stopped. Decent sized flakes though.

Snowing here in Essex. Roads are ok at the moment but I live in a town on a hill which is notoriously difficult to get in and out of on snowy roads. Our district council, based in the next town, seems to salt their own roads and ignore us.

I work in Southend (15 miles away in multiple locations involving lots of driving) and it's forecast to get hammered by snow. Looks like getting to work will be ok but not back later. I hate snow.

Nottingham here, snow is coming down quite heavily, but it’s small, fine snow, rather than big fat flakes.

Very light flakes coming down in the West Midlands. It’s -2 and no frost.

Sw London/Surrey we've got teeny tiny flakes is that it?????

I'm north Essex and just the odd flake.

Slight covering in the rotherham/barnsley border here this morning. Just been to let pideon out to play and she was in 2 minds whether to stay in bed.

It's very weird snow. Its tiny and fluffy and reminds me of fake snow!

Also ds (4) has been up in the night poorly. He is rarely poorly bless him. So adding calpol and ibuprofen to my supplies list.

Last time we had any significant snow at all about 3 years ago he was poorly and did a pretty hair raising journey to the walk in centre. Have a 4 x 4 now though so topping my fuel up as well. Just in case 😁

Snow in Sussex although doubt it will settle as it sunny!

After all the time and effort I've invested ,I'm learning just how complicated and tricky this forecasting business is ,especially for snow .

Unfortunately while I could happily spend hours on genealogy research ,I don't have enough brain cells to do weather .
So good that OMBK and Gloria do it for me .

But I'm p**d off it's so confusing and I can't make sense of it myself!

Remember today is the quietest day of the week snow wise, so don't all fall on your swords yet if you were hoping for some.

Odd situation in our house. I've forgotten all sensibleness and am jumping around like a mad creature (I'm going to be exhausted by the end of this week) because the snow is settling where I am. dd is much more of the 'go away, I need to get to college' persuasion.
I don't think I raised her right!

I'm in West Kent and looks as if our snow will come late this evening and tomorrow. That's what they are saying now, but of course its always changing. If I burrow into the garage to get the sledges out that is a sure fire way to make it turn tail and head off somewhere else!

Snowing in Surrey and there is now a faint dusting on the ground! Forecast currently says heavy snow at ten . . .
