It's lovely here in Wales (well mild drizzle but it is Wales!) What on earth is supposed to happening to make it so orange?

And is it really bad that I've just looked at the map again and thought 'oh so that's where Kent is.'

really? Bright and sunny here.. wonder how long that will last.

Dry so far in the East - the garden could actually do with some rain. And I could really do with DS2's hockey being cancelled tonight - I'm in one of those can't-be-arsed moods.

lostinwales - some potentially heavy rain. Not quite convinced it requires an orange Britain, but hey I'm just an amateur :)

I did get very very very wet on my bike this morning.

We have had torrential rain here in Hampshire today.

It's a lot brighter now though.

Gorgeous and sunny and warm here too.....until we started with ominous thunder and blac clouds 10 minutes ago.

No sign of rain yet, but i can beliebe it will be torrential from just looking at the cloud!

It's quite warm and dark clouds keep gathering here (Leicester) but nothing thundery's happened yet.

Someone on a weather thread here (sorry I can't remember who it was!) recommended this site that registers lightning strikes. Lots going on at the moment!

nope nothing as yet. more nasty looking cloud coming over, thunder stopped.
