Look what's made a home on this webcam!...

Not exactly weather related but I thought this was funny. I discovered this webcam when looking at ones of the erupting Icelandic volcano a few months ago. This webcam is of Hekla (when you can see it through the rain/mist/fog!) but I noticed this morning, a spider's made a web right over the camera lens!
I wonder how long it'll be before someone comes along and cleans it off!

Oh that is very scary, clicking back onto the webcam and seeing the bleak megalith that has appeared from nowhere. It is like Marianne Dreams.

the mists close in around strange thing so it appears and reappears.

makes our summer look tropical in comparison.

i thought the 'man' was a building but now you have said its moved i doubt my thoughts, and im sure you can see like a cape flapping in the wind!! rather spooky!

disclaimer: I have not looked at webcam as yet.

I think the 'obelisk' thing slightly to the left, is a sensor of some kind (possibly weather or earthquake?)

I did see the spider about 24 hours ago, at one corner of the webcam so he's been busy since then! He's probably realising now that he's chosen a bit of an exposed spot!

Oooh, the web is all wet now and the drops are dancing in the wind.

It all looks very sinister out there, with the Obelisk in the mist. I agree with Eleison about Marianne Dreams!
