Today has been pretty good all round and I’ve been feeling insanely happy…

I’ve had a crappy few days so I just got myself the Polteageist hat and I can’t stop laughing at my avatar now.

I was ridiculously happy to finally evolve my antique sinistea. Hopefully I don't accidentally transfer it! L's antique ones (I know!) are finally evolvable, too.

Thanks to travelling on a bus with Ray as a buddy, this morning, I'm now well over half way through my nice throws. I'm going to max out at 74 on my current XP so I'm in no hurry.

I always like the really stupid things tbf. I’m wardrobe mistress at our local am dram theatre and I love finding stupid hats and just walking around in them there too. 🤣

I hope there are some more proper Appelins soon. I need more candy and also don’t have 20 of each to evolve them.

Applin is still in mossy lures, just not at the high frequency of the event. You can earn extra candy by walking with it as your buddy and trading. Also the odd one by throwing berries at it in gyms though I consider this to be a bonus of having somewhere to dump excess berries rather than a useful candy source.

I’ve sat with lures on and gotten one appelin. I’ll never evolve on at this rate.

I've also invested in the teapot head, it's especially funny seeing it run around the map

I'm sure I used to have a pose sipping a hot drink but I can't find it anywhere. I feel that would complete the look

Also is anyone else wondering if Niantic have moved the Greenwich Meridian?
Shellos used to be blue on the right and pink on the left, now the whole UK and Ireland is blue.

I think I’ve just found it. It’s called hot cocoa pose if that’s the one you’re thinking of. It doesn’t look too obvious what it is on the list so I just clicked through them checking the names.

Shellos swapped over at the start of the current season. It took everyone by surprise as it hasn't done that before.

It's not actually a swap though, both east and west of the meridian line are now blue. They've moved the line!
Used to be able to sit in Greenwich Park and catch both forms, now both sides are blue.

They've done swap events before but this seems to be more that they've broke it 😆
USA, Australia and other countries are still getting their usual form so it's just those of us near the meridian line affected.

Yes I have Applin as my buddy but that just gets candy. I need the actual apples. Out of mossy lures. I might have to buy some.

DS1's avatar wears a bidoof hat, BTW. It quite suits him. Mine wears 2 pairs of glasses. Her attire varies with the weather but she always has the second pair of glasses on her head. Of course, I wasn't impressed when they were one of the items that broke the game, last year. I had no map, pokestops or spawns for 3 days. I kept up my catch and research streaks with daily spawns and rockets, both of which did appear, but lost my spin streaks and had the fun of getting everything synchronised again.
