I am actually a day 1 player technically… I joined with my two eldest sons with all the hype. We played for a few months, then I think the weather likely turned and that was that. In April 2023, my youngest son (11 at the time) and I decided we wanted to get out walking more to get fitter. I suspected he would get bored VERY quickly (and knew I would too) so I looked to see if the game was still going. Since then we found a local group, I go out daily, he comes out at least 4 times a week, we play all the events together and I hit level 50 a week ago!

It’s great to have a hobby we play together - and nice that a nearly 14 year old boy WANTS to spend time with his mum. I’ve also managed to make some real friends now, I see one of them pretty much daily. And 4 of us ladies are going out to play bingo tomorrow night, taking the friendship past just playing PoGo together, which I’m really excited about. I may have finally found my “girls” friendship group I see so many people with!

I love that you've found that from Pogo @Tillow4ever , wish DS still wanted to play with me. Hoping the bonus of the new phone will be that I can hotspot DD on the old phone for as long as it'll manage to keep limping on.

@pottypotamus think we're still friends from the first time round, the Australian gift eggs are very useful towards the long distance trading badge, so will have to remember to open when I have gift space.

Has anyone found any of the collection challenge pokemon yet? I was assuming they were going to be shadows, but no sign of them with any of the grunts I've found so far!

Not as far as I’m aware. I did get a Swablu in the wild but that’s the only one from this collection challenge I’ve seen. I’ve attached a picture of what grunts you’re looking for (when its’s approved) but you’re looking for the grunt that says “ROAR! … How’d that sound?” for Deino.

Yeah, I keep getting 'Winning is for winners!' and 'Check out my cute Pokémon'.

Oh well. At least I am rescuing loads from Team Rocket 😄

I've got 2 swablus now, but none of the others, having fought a lot of rockets! Now I need to do the beat team rocket for the xp research they're just not appearing anywhere...

I just need deino now. I spent a lot of time checking grunts yesterday and when I finally gave up and went home the stop nearest the house had the ROAR grunt pop up. So I thought I was done, but it gave me a bagon instead. Very frustrating.

I've had multiple ralts from psychic and just got a tentacool from poison, no sign of a ROAR. Not sure I'm going to do this one, but sometimes it all comes together at the last minute...

Just like the last rocket event, L... Completed the collection challenge today. I still need Deino and Qwilfish - I've had T-Rex on steroids twice and was mid egg hatch when our bus passed the only poison grunt I've seen that hasn't been skorupi.

This map only shows tbd leaders - not grunts. I’ve struggled to find a stop that doesn’t have a grunt on it this event. I needed 15 rocket members for the last page I did on xp challenge and it took less than 30 mins!

What eggs do you need to hatch those?

I don't think I'll finish the collection challenge I've been doing 30 grunts a day and no dragon ones yet also have almost no potions left

I did the collection at the very last minute, I think I got 3 skorupi earlier chasing round poison grunts, but finally got the quilfish!

Also got a 1* tornadus from Giovanni, which was slightly disappointing.
