Anyone else excited about Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Just that really, I've been playing with my boys since they were 13, 10 and 7 when BOTW came out and we are mega excited :) (eldest is banned until after A Levels though!) It was such a formative experience for them around Gaming and a great bonding experience for us as a family. I have it on pre-order with the Amiibo, that's how sad an ageing nintendo fan girl I am 😄Anyone else?

What sort of age would be ok for a child to play Zelda tears of the kingdom and book of the wild? By themselves with no help or input from me, as I never progressed past my brother's fold out donkey kong game and would be absolutely no help! So age that the themes would be ok and for the complexity. He loves minecraft, pokemon, kirby and animal crossing already. He has finished Link's awakening.

My son played BOTW from 7 I think. Never asked for any help and a lot of his friends started at that age too.

@SmartHome @yoshiblue thank you! He is 8, so ounds like it could happen pretty soon. He is not ok with any type of TV drama, finding nemo was an absolute disaster when his mum and siblings all get eaten at the beginning! But with video games he seems fine. He hasn't been allowed to play anything over an age 7 rating yet.

No problem - I think he will be fine. I would say my 9.5 year old was a bit scared at the opening 'cut scene' on TOTK but just turned the volume down!

I did make an informed decision about letting him have a 12 certificate early. You can google more detail, but I was personally happy with more 'fantasy' based fighting. He's not allowed Fortnite for example.
