Hi, can anyone please help me with an idiotic question on the current research task?
What does "Battle another Trainer with your Buddy Pokemon while it’s adventuring with you" mean? I thought it meant Battle League, but I've done that and not got the points.

You need to battle one of your friends with your buddy in your team, buddy will need to have been fed and on the map.

Oh I see, buddy in team. Obvious when you say it.

I’m stuck on a special research task that needs a new friend but has a glitch and doesn’t update when you add new friends. Apparently they are bringing out a fix with the next update.

I’m stuck on the take a photo of loudred. I evolved it ages ago, and I haven’t come across another one yet

And the glitch has fixed itself so my add new friend task had completed when I turned it on this morning.

@newroundhere the day you posted is the day after I was admitted to hospital to try to clear an unresolved medical issue I have. Things appear to be working, will find out soon. If you want to chuck the egg do so at your will, whether or not I can get in the game is extremely patchy atm. I bet my local gym has been yellow for weeks now...

Love Hisuian Qwilfish. Bit bored of all the Voltorbs though.

Just rediscovered Pokémon Go with my 5 year old. I played back in 2016/2017 with my eldest son. Now my youngest wants to play. So much has changed and I’m trying to wrap my head around the research tasks etc.

We have done 10K steps the last couple of days playing the game. So much fun and lovely seeing the excitement on his face when he catches a Pokémon

Finally got a palkia. Took me two raids to get it.

First one, I couldn’t catch the Pokémon even though I had 15 balls and 18 golden berries.

So I went to raid another one. Got 13 balls this time and was down to my last two when I finally got the git.

Bagged a Hisuian Braviary but out of remote raid passes for the moment.

Could I join please? DS (8) and I are beginners. We have really been enjoying catching and evolving Pokémon. DS' favourite is Oddish. Now we're starting to wonder about gyms and raids.

They look like they might be fun but I am a little concerned about battling with or against people we don't know. Could you Pokexperts tell me a bit about how they work?
