I don't think the flight mode trick works anymore, unfortunately. I tried it recently and got a broken streak even though I did manage a great throw.

I don't think niantic are too concerned about me. It takes me days to get a great curve ball

Another tip though is to make sure your buddy has catch assist. I get more greats and excellents that way.

I am a woman - I stll have my son's avatar from when he started playing on my phone when pokemon go first came out. I tried to change the avatar to a woman once but it seemed all wrong and I had to bring him back - I missed him too much!

The flight mode trick didn't work for me either, but my tip is to attempt it during a spotlight hour or community day - i.e. when you're trying to catch the same Pokemon over and over. Much easier to hone your skills and make consistent throws when the distance and circle aren't changing.

I managed to catch a hundo Dratini in the wild t'other day. I was quite pleased about that.

I'm disappointed that Niantic don't appear to have postponed the Johto event or announced any bonuses for the players in Ukraine. They can hardly flitter around from pokestop to pokestop at the moment.

I haven't seen any activity today on my Ukrainian pogo friend's account today.i hope that they are ok.

I've just stared playing Pogo again after a few years out in an attempt to get myself out and about walking again...With limited success!

I've been finding all the things that have changed since I last played, I don't remember buddies at all.

Hi everyone! Has anyone had trouble with Discord? I've been using it quite happily for ages and suddenly I'm locked out and have an email from them saying that as I claimed to be under 13 they are deleting my account?! I'm sure I never told them I'm under 13! They want me to appeal by sending a selfie with photo ID and my username. My scam senses are on high alert but it does look like it is genuine. I'm not going to send them my ID however. Instead I've opened a new account with a different email. But it so strange and annoying as now I've lost access to the raid groups I was in.

@40Jem I've just had a Google and it looks like discord do this which sounds really dodgy.
Maybe a spot check? Are you in the mumsnet discord or was it a different one?

Thanks for the reply! It does sound dodgy doesn't it?! Im absolutely sure that I never claimed to be under 13, so no idea why they would think this. I've always used genuine info on my accounts. I was on the Mumsnet discord , a global raid group and I also had a couple of local groups on there. I've set up a new account now and managed to join the global group again. It's just really weirded me out. There's no way in hell I'm sending discord a copy of my driving licence!

Has anyone bothered with the “upload scan of poke stop”

I keep getting it come up but no matter how long I leave it, either on WiFi or data, it will not upload

I do, but I think I’m in a minority. I just do the local (church) gym for the rewards. It can be a bit slow to upload, but touchwood has been behaving lately.
