I got this for Christmas and I’m in love. Is there a thread/community etc I could join?

I’m usually an AIBU inhabitant so this is a bit new...

How do we get non native fruit? When I travel with nook miles I just get the same pears and coconuts we have already.

I haven't paid for online access so will it be impossible?

Yep - Blathers only takes the first one of each creature/bug etc you find.

You used to be able to get fruit from the in game “Mom” or from villagers visiting your house and giving it to you as a gift or posting it to you with a letter. But now you have to travel to other islands to get non-native fruit. You can sometimes get one non-native fruit from “Mom” just be sure to plant that so you can get more or you can go to a rare fruit island which is one of many different types of mystery islands.

Google is your friend for paintings and statues. Just type in “calm painting new horizons” (or whatever you have, there’s a Game8 (I think?) link which is amazing, has comparison photos etc. When you talk to Redd and he asks if you want to buy, select I want a closer look and you can see it much bigger and zoom into it.

I'm interested to know who your favourite villagers are.

Mine is Eunice, she is a Normal sheep and I lover her. I've changed her greeting to Mint Sauce! and her catchphrase to brebis. If she ever wants to go, I'm saying "No!".

I've got two kangaroos,Carrie and Astrid, and I'm very fond of them, I like grumpy old Bruce, and Patty the cow and Reneigh the horse are part of the furniture having been with me from the start.

Who have you got a soft spot for?

How can you change their greetings? I have a workout-obsessed bear who mocks me when I get stung by wasps. He can fuck off. The others are alright, I've got carrie the kangaroo too.

I have a soft spot for Skye, she was with me all the way from my first New Leaf town, she's just so pretty and nice! I also have a soft spot for Yuka as she shares my birthday, and June for no reason.

My island is paired up. So we have Eugene and Yuka (koalas), Skye and Fang (wolves), June and Stitches (bear cubs), Goose and Plucky (chickens) and Walker and Maddie (dogs). It's like Noah's Ark Grin

I play AC Pocket Camp on my phone, which I love. Does anyone know how it compares to New Horizon? I'm tempted to buy a switch, but just for that game so not sure if it's worth it?

You get a nice bonus after resident services reopens as well as keeping your streak.

Need to visit an island that doesn't have cherries as its native fruit, got loads I want to sell in the shop.
