My DD is the main player but I’ve added myself in as a second villager and split the play cons so we have a play con each. I can see that I can catch fish etc and save them to my inventory but I can’t donate anything to the museum? Is that correct?

To add friends, when you're on the homepage of the Switch, click the circle in the top left of the screen. There should be an option to "Add Friend" or something similar, then "Add via Friend Code". Then type in the numbers, there's some codes upthread.

The washed up seagull is called Gulliver, talk to him repeatedly until he wakes up then dig up all five of his communicator parts (they look like clams, squirting water up through the sand), bring them back to him and you'll get a reward in the post tomorrow.

No, you can access the storage anytime you’re in your house. You can just move items back to your pocket.

To access your storage when you are in your house you press the right arrow on the left joycon .

So when you press x and show your pocket you can put into storage.

Close pockets and when in your house press right button on left joycon - that will open your storage and you can pop it back in your pockets if you fancy.

Oops missed the reward from the seagull. I did speak to him a few times but he didnt say much so didn't perservere. And now he's gone. Oops.

The fastest way of becoming a bellionaire, which is just a million bells (you can make even more bells than that), is to play the stalk market. You will need to buy turnips from Daisy Mae on Sundays. In previous games it was Daisy’s grandmother Joan from whom you’d buy turnips. You can buy from Daisy several times on Sunday when you see her wandering around (as many times as you can afford). You can then sell turnips later on in the week when your turnip rates are high. Alternatively, Reddit has turnip subreddits where you can find loads of people who have great rates.

I’m not sure if anyone is opposed to time traveling, but do note that time traveling backwards will always spoil turnips. However, I’ve read that if you time travel forward it won’t always, as long as you don’t hit the next Sunday; I haven’t tried this yet so I’m not 100% sure.

There are several online guides and YouTube videos that are helpful. You can read this to help you get started on making those bells. Also non-native and exotic fruit are great gifts and do sell for more than native fruit. Once you’ve planted your fruit orchards etc, sell unwanted fruit to the twins.

You will get Nook Mile points and stamps for the first of every type of fruit tree you plant and you also get nook mile points and stamps per milestone when selling fruits, same with selling shells or digging up clams.

Yep - Blathers only takes the first one of each creature/bug etc you find.

Yep - Blathers only takes the first one of each creature/bug etc you find.

Pears are obviously your "sister fruit", so NMT islands will only ever have pears or your native fruit. To get the other fruits you need to have the online access so you can get to other people's islands.

Or pears might be your native fruit, of course. In which case, if you're lucky you'll get the "sister fruit" island which will have a different fruit, but that's fairly rare.
