Our local group had our first socially distant raid t'other day, there were 11 in the lobby and only 3 of us were physically at the gym. The bantz on the message group afterwards was funny though after I introduced them to a new word.

That's the negative side of lockdown, many players are too worried to get within 10m of another. There are some friends I haven't seen in months, and just a few I have seen to have a socially distant chat. Still, mustn't grumble.

Have they said when they are switching on the remote raiding? It's not looking likely that I'll get through the 15 raids by Monday...

Just popping on quickly to share my excitement as nobody else will understand. Today I finally managed to throw five curveballs in a row! Felt like my reward should have been more than just a couple of berries, for all the effort it took me. Not to mention all the wasted balls!

Always impressed with myself when I manage this.
I got a spinda for my efforts last week.

My kids can manage this effortlessly but I have to wait for a few Mr Mimes.

Right. Today, Giovanni has Persian and Steelix and Entei.

My Machamp can defeat the Persian today. (I haven't had any luck with Aggron yesterday or today).

I am struggling loads with the Steelix.
I've tried Kingler and Moltres and Charmander.
Does anyone have any ideas based on my high IV 'mons?

What moves sets do you have?

The Charizard will need Fire Spin and Overheat to melt the steel, unless you've got the legacy move Blast Burn (or Flamethrower), which is even better.
The Groudon with Mud Slap and Earthquake should take down the Entei.
You could also use the Groundon against the Steelix, but could you evolve a Rhydon to a Rhyperior? Also with Mud Slap and Earthquake.

@SuperLoudPoppingAction I just thought, has your Groundon got Fire Punch? That's the legacy move from the research. Don't TM it - that'll be perfect to take on the Steelix.

Sorry I haven’t engaged much recently - I’m wfh so haven’t left the house much and to be honest I have e completely lost interest. I’ll try and get back into it just to exchange gifts with those of you close to levelling up with me (MsSnuddles).

I just won a battle, finally, in the premium reward league thing and the reward was that a Metagross appeared. Oh my lord,it took me AGES to catch it - I honestly thought I was just going to run out of pokeballs! Finally got it but feel a bit swizzed to be honest. Used up so many balls and loads of berries.

@HighBrows we are due to to Ultra Friends - I am “ADA” (abbreviated for privacy!). Can we coordinegg? The only slight catch is that I don’t have any eggs at the moment and no Pokecoins!

I’m also on the lookout for BehindB1ueEyes and Laurajayjdm for coordinegg purposes.

@bellabelly you are never swizzed with a metagross! It's a good, solid, tanky attacker.
Give it double psychic moves, or if you ever get a really good one it'll be worth using an elite charge TM to give it Meteor Mash for a 5/5 PVE steel attacker.

Baroness, I know I am being ungrateful! Thanks for the tips, I will search up how to do those things. Do you know what would have happened if I had run out of pokeballs? Would it have just been tough luck or would you keep getting an extra one? I keep failing to catch shadow Pokémon abandoned by Team Rocket, once you have used up all the special balls, that is it! (I really ought to learn to throw better...)

I caught this shiny castform today, AND a 4* as well. All whilst I took the kids for a run around the park.

Also, I have this lovely Eevee, can any suggest what the best thing to evolve it into would be?
