You come and post. Shiny new thread to which all are welcome. Including me, for some reason.

I got my first buddy up to best buddies so it gets a badge. It ends up giving weird gifts like an ear ring or a flower which you can't do anything with. I'd rather extra candies or coins. If you put a best buddy in a gym and it earns extra coins maybe.

I'm at best buddy as well and I want to change him, but I am trying to earn candy for a research task and the feebas candies take soooo bloody long so I will be stuck with him for a while longer...
I wish I was better at battles and could earn plenty of rare candy !!!

I've had rare candy from battles with friends before even when I've lost deliberately. I've had a few from walking over 25km in a week.

Also you occasionally get a candy from feeding berries to pokemon in gyms so if someone else has the one you want candy for in a gym you could just bombard that one with berries.

@LtBenson I have a gift to send you. After about 8pm is better for me as DD will be asleep.

I have about 20 to evolve so if I put my egg on then send you a gift and do my evolving.

It’s Pokémon day on the 27th (of course ) lots of Pokémon in party hats and armoured mewtwo in raids this weekend. Also clone Pokémon apparently but I’ve no idea what those are?

Mooshienoz and Emilycljo are you on here? Do you want to coordinegg tomorrow?

Thanks. I’ll let you know. I’m trying to line up a number of coordineggs at the moment, including people in real life and people across time zones. And some of them are slow to open gifts. It’s a headache 😂

DD is in heaven today. She managed to catch an armoured MewTwo. And is currently watching the new MewTwo strikes back on Netflix.

Has anybody else been struggling to get gifts from pokestops recently? They’ve been really sparse here but I don’t know if it’s just my bad luck

The stops have been a bit up and down. I spun 4 yesterday and got nothing. But today has been 'normal'.

Has anyone got any clones from raids? It's just too vile out there to face it. I've got 3 pikachus though. The film is good isn't it?!

I'm enjoying these battles though, probably cos I'm winning a lot haha!

I've been getting less gifts from stops.
My item bag is full too so I've been spending my coins on space and deleting potions. I have about 900 balls!

My daughter saw the armored Mewtwo for the first time when we were out yesterday and is appalled that I am not yet good enough or have high enough cp Pokémon to do those raids because she desperately wants one!
Can I ask with the 5 star raids are they only possible with a team or is it eventually doable on your own if you have both the right and strong enough team?
Yesterday's spins seemed pretty normal for us - managed to get to the 10 gifts max limit...

I think you need a team I've lost level 4 raids with really good pokemon I only bother with the low level ones to get the points or for research challenges at the moment because I don't want to hang around in the cold. I've not been doing team rocket ones either the last few months.

The film is really good, sat down and watched it with dd who is just getting into Pokemon. She was wowed that I was sat there going “that’s a butterfree, that’s a Tauros, Donphan”

Does anyone know why we can’t evolve this new party hat Pikachu? The other party hat one could be evolved.

@jillandhersprite definitely need several players to take down armoured mewtwo! Several of the 5* bosses this winter have been a bit easier and I've managed to do them on my own with my main & 2 baby accounts, but I am nowhere near being able to do armoured mewtwo on my own! I think it's 5-6 pretty strong accounts that are recommended.
If there's a gym near you that seems to be quite active, you could turn up just before a 5* raid is due to start and see if anyone else turns up. I had to do this a few times before I managed to meet a few other people who then gave me an invite to join a local WhatsApp group!

A lot of areas will have facebook groups for arranging raids too, I havent been out with mine for ages due to the weather but generally everyone is lovely.

Well I'm having some luck. Did one raid only today and got a shiny nidorino! I love the boosted raids for pokemon day.
