Caught these two yesterday as well. The raikou was as disappointing as usual.

Still can't beat Giovanni

I find a Smackdown/ Stone Edge Aggron far more effective against a Persian than the fighting types recommend. The Aggron will take down both shields and won't die.
I then came up against a cloyster, which I countered with a rhyperior, also with Smackdown/ Stone Edge.
My second rhyperior did massive damage to the raikou but it won't take a hit. I used a Mud Slap/ Earthquake groudon instead. It'll take a charge move from the raikou without dying.

Yes I was prompted to turn Adventure Sync on yesterday but I’m not sure how or when it turned itself off

This happened to me yesterday too, or at least that's when I noticed. Possibly coincided with the new 'home' screen update that has a summary of data just below the buddy history/journal/style buttons?

So now I have Poke Go and I have a Cyndiquil as my Buddy, how do I feed him Cyndiquil candies? He's found about 100!

Yes, I came on here to moan about that. I got the notification to turn it on after I spent a day in London walking for bloody miles with my phone in my bag instead of in my hand. Grr.

Philomena the walking candy automatically becomes cyndaquil candy (or whoever you have as your buddy) and if you find any cydaquil in your Pokémon list it’ll be there to use on evolving or powering up etc

Blueroses - I can battle (or rather my kids would love to have a go - DaisyTrex) tomorrow. If you want to suggest a time as I usually check Mumsnet with my morning cuppa!
If by some random chance they win I can tell them to keep going so you win a few! Although they are starting to understand battles more and are choosing strong Pokémon rather than just the cute ones!!!

I like the update that gives more info on your own total catches and km walked. Always found it random when doing gifts that I could see other people's total stats but not my own.

I found out my adventure sync had also turned off after I spent the day walking round with my phone in my pocket. Very annoyed!

Also every bloody battle I am doing, every fucking trainer is sending out a Girantina. Out of 15 battles the past couple of days only about 3 of them havent. And I havent managed to beat a single one yet.
