@bigchris DS beat Cliff today with Swampert, Mewtwo, Swampert. Both Swamps had Hydrocannon, not sure about Mewtwo's movesets though.

How was everyone's Community Day?

@bigchris I ignore all guides for defeating the leaders as I never have the right Pokémon/right move sets/right level. My tactic is to use the best counter that I have for each Pokémon that I encounter. It usually takes a few rounds and some googling in between rounds to check which counters to use and plenty of revives in between rounds. I have the Poke Genie app so I can check which move sets to use as well as that makes a difference too. Good luck

If in doubt with rockets, go in with Pokémon with really fast Fast TMs, or that are really tanky.
So swampert, lucario, doom desire jirachi to burn the shields, and machamp, dialga, mamoswine etc to fight with.
To be honest you won't ever go far wrong with machamp, machamp, machamp!

Community day was OK. Was out about 45 mins and got three shines, all crap, but piplup isn't a fave so not bothered. I can't remember what the guess was for next month?

I think it's a trubbish.

I enjoyed Community Day, just wandering around with a few friends. Some of us went to the pub afterwards and talked rubbish for an hour. I didn't get any shinies, but I'm not fussed, a couple of people have said they'll trade.

I'm thinking about Liverpool but it's a bit of a way from where I live, but it would be fun to make a bit of a trip of it! I might try to get a ticket and see where we end up. It works well as it's the end of half term. How awesome would it be to go?!

I might try and get tickets for Liverpool, have to check some dates first but it would be fun to go.

What does everyone think of the new voting for community day format? I'd quite like a Rhyhorn day or even Machop. Not so keen on another Dratini day as I already have what I need from the 2018 one.

A few people reckon Niantic will just do the highest ranking in feb though and second highest march etc etc so we'll get them all anyway.

I wish they would do community days around other region pokemon, like from Sinnoh. It feels like it's always either Kanto or Johto.

The community day question has got quite heated on my Facebook groups, feels like a load of hustings!
I'd actually like a shiny machop so I'll vote for that I reckon.
I wouldn't have chosen any of those though, I'd rather something rare, or from another region like you say dilite.
