Shiny new thread starts here!

No shineys or chingling here either

Got me a shiny shuckle without even leaving the house today.

We have an intermittent changing spawn nest within reach of the rooms at the front of the house. Some months ago it was a shuckle nest then a lileep nest, has recently been a skamory nest or a humel nest and yesterday is spawned shuckles again for a few hours.

Still no shiny bloody bunny though !

I seem to do well on the events I’m not bothered about doing well for I really wanted some good scythers and only got one! It’s my fave Pokemon

Does anyone use Adventure Sync? I've been for a 5k run, my phone is showing I've done 5k but when I've opened the Pogo app it won't show the additional distance

Is adventure sync definitely on? It should have updated.

I've just hit 50km this week so must remember to keep an egg space open.

Mine is on but it doesn’t work. Mine is really poor at recording distances

It's definitely on, it updates smaller distances occasionally but it's very hit and miss.

No shiny shuckle for me. I don't seem to have a lot of luck at the 24/48 hour events for shinies. I'm halfway through level 40, I'm wondering whether your motivation to play changes once you're level 40, as I guess you don't care about XP anymore but more about completion of the pokedex, shinies, etc? What have others found?

I got a shiny shuckle, yesterday. Neither of the boys got one, though. DS1 did get his Latios, tonight though, while we stood at a gym surrounded by fucking annoying boy racers and the odd cop car. I prefer cold evenings for Pokemon hunting, on reflection.

I created DS2's account the day I reached level 40. I'm enjoying the comparison and, occasionally, he catches and evolves everything in sight. And moans when I won't let him evolve a cp20 magikarp.

For me, though, it's shinies and dex completion.

It's safe to say that Mr 40 x 10 still cares about the XP.
In other news, he invited DS to last Friday's ex-raid, which put a few noses out of joint. DS was over the moon and now has a deoxys defence. He also has two, yes two, shiny latios. No bunnies or shuckles though, whereas I've got a latios and a bunny.
Apparently the Lapras research task has been removed from the game. Too many people were getting a shiny too quickly.

Argh where can I catch an Aerodactyl?? I've had the Meltan task open forever and no more tasks have come through for months - is that because I haven't finished Meltan?? Is there a way of deleting a task?
