Hi Bittercup - I got 27 new friends from posting mine recently. Personally, I’m fine if people can’t send a gift every day - I can’t send one to every friend every day. I’ve got my own system for trying to spread out the gifts so I don’t leave it too long for each friend. I do find that you get a mix of folk in your friends list - some play every day and so regularly send and open gifts. Others have different strategies and hang on to your gifts for longer. And some are more casual players or I am not a priority friend so I don’t interact very often with them.

All good - everyone plays in their own way, I think the only golden rule here is giving notice when triggering a level up to give people a chance to lucky egg and double those XP.

I also put my trainer number on my local PoGo facebook site and got lots of requests from there. The local group is good for meeting up for raids or trades; although I haven't actually been brave enough to meet up with them for raid yet. In my mind they're all gorgeous young clever student types who look like their avatars and I'm, well, a 40 something mother! [sob]

I try and send gifts regularly although as others have said, life sometimes gets in the way

Thanks Igneococcus - looking it's saying "play together for one more day to become Ultra friends". I think that means I just need to send you one more gift (or you send to me) but we don't open it until 3pm on Saturday after putting on an egg in order to co-ordinate with the others.

It's a bit of mystery to me too!

Between the four of us we have six PoGo accounts - there are two spare phones that have accounts for when we’re out raiding and need extra bodies! :o

I finally reached level 40! 🎉 Glad to not have to schedule mass evolve sessions anymore, it's a bit more freeing. Why do you get 4 lucky eggs at level 40?! A better gift would be raid passes etc. No point getting XP after level 40, surely?
