Community day was extended past 6pm here in Aus till 8pm because of severe lag issues. So caught a few more than I would have normally and managed to snag 4 shinies.

I traded a bagon with DH who I became lucky friends with and got this

I have an outrage squad comprising the almost perfect Ray, from the other week, 4 of today's 80 odd % finest and my maxed out hundo Gary because I still didn't have a good 6th man.

Eight shinies from CD, highest IV was 90% (non-shiny) so I evolved that and my highest CP shiny. Raikou from my research this morning wish they’d take the dogs out now, they all got a month each last year.

Ideally this afternoon, cookie, although the chance of that is approx 0%. I reckon once the egg event and Latios is over, when giratina leaves we'll get another Gen 4 raid boss and new Gen 4 pokémon I'd imagine.

@dillite hiya new lucky friend! That status stays there until we ever get together to do a trade, which would be guaranteed lucky. People have been using it to trade shiny legendaries etc to get something good.
I think you may not actually be that far from me if you did ever want to take advantage of that, unlike the other lucky friend I got yesterday, who I think is way up in the north east of the country!

The closest MN friend I have is 1book47 who is approx an hour away by train, so if we ever go lucky friends do let me know and I'll make the journey

@drfoxtrot so sorry if you missed egging and friending with me, podsy68. I did post on the other thread that real life had delayed comm day for me. I hoped most people would see my msg or be running eggs back to back still with all the bagons around. I managed 5 shinies and a bonus clamperl as I was actually able to play for longer. The later afternoon comm day actually suits me better. Really would like more gen4 to be released too.

tumpy I think I missed by about 20 mins, but I got loads of XP from the x3 catch XP during the Bagon event and other friends levelling up . I'm very happy with the progress yesterday, I want to get to level 30!

@eurochick, lucky friends is a new feature involving best friends. Any interaction, be it raiding, trading, gifting etc, could result in getting lucky friends status. This means that the next trade you make between the two of you will automatically be lucky. So obviously everyone's using it for stuff like shiny legendaries! The status stays there until you complete a trade and then you revert back to being best friends.
Niantic obviously felt people were ignoring one another once they got to best whilst they chased the xp for levelling up other friends!
