Would anyone really want to change teams? Seems a weird one to me.

I can’t wait for the team change! Only because I have 4 DSs and the 3 eldest and I are all Mystic. DH set up my youngest’s account (because it is on DH’s phone) he doesn’t know fig about Pokemon and just selected instinct without realising the implications. For 2 years DS has whined every time we take a gym and he can’t join in, whined about not getting the same bonuses from raids. There’s been many, many tears so bring on the traitor token that’ll end my woes

It's mostly mystic around here so raids etc are annoying because I never get team bonus (valor). But...valor for life!

Only got 9 out of the 'catch 20 luvdisc' field research and debating whether to just delete it or wait however long to finish it now val day event is over. Hmm.

See I'm Instinct and I love it because there are fewer of us. The gyms are almost always ripe to be taken down. Nothing worse than passing a gym your own colour but it's full.

But I see your point @WitchSharkadder for circumstances like yours. (Costs a bomb though).

Actually I was doing my maths wrong and thinking it'd cost about £100 but it's a tenner. Not too bad. Especially to stop tears.

@JuniLoolaPalooza I'd delete the luvdisc task, you won't see any now until next valentines day.thankfully I got my last one to get the chansey which then gave me 3 rare candy. Does anyone know if the throw five great curveballs in a row will yield a valentines spinda or the February spinda? I'm on 3 in a row and I don't know whether I can be bothered to get my 6th valentines spinda!

Ahh I said the other day I’d seen teamchange rumoured. I’m mystic, not changing. My area is mostly instinct but the gyms are really rural so if I kick Pokemon out I’m in for a good few days anyways!

I'm yellow. There's about 10 yellows in our whole town, of which my best friend and I are the only ones who are out every single day!

At least I'm guaranteed coins living on a gym

We’ve got Mystics & Instincts aplenty around here, it’s Valor that are scarce. DS just wants to be the same team as his brothers, he’s only 5, bless him. I still won’t be shelling out a tenner though, he can save his gym coins!

I’d definitely delete the Luvdisc task now, it’ll be just taking up space for a very long time, Juni.

Now that valentines event is over, I am really hoping that I will be able to catch a drowsee for my meltan task.

Sinnoh stones are from trainer battles? FFS! We didn't know that. Google told us they were from the weekly field research which we've been doing religiously and nada.

YogaDrone There are two ways to earn Sinnoh Stones. Through your weekly field research, like you found on Google, and through PvP and trainer battles.

With the battles, you have four chances a day, as you can receive rewards from three PvP battles and one trainer battle. Do keep in mind though that each battle reward only has a 1 in 7 chance of dropping a Sinnoh Stone; they are meant to be relatively rare and hard to gain.

SneakyGremlins All Pokemon have their own individual biomes, ie. water Pokemon are more likely to spawn in water biomes etc. So yes, geography and your surrounding area plays a huge part in what Pokemon crop up for you.

I completed the spinda task yesterday evening during the event, but only just opened it this morning, as it was the only completed task I had.
It's the sodding February spinda. I thought that because I'd completed it during the event I'd get the Valentine's one.

I will never make that mistake again.
I will probably chuck the sodding spinda too as I don't even like them. I was making an exception for the Valentine's one.

So you think they will release the other three eevee evolutions?

Like leafeon, slyveon and glaceon?

I think so. I'm hanging on to several high IV/ CP eevees so I can evolve them as soon as they hit.
The gym teams here are pretty evenly split. Most players seem to have at least two accounts and as the main accounts were either Valour or Mystic, many plumped for Instinct as the 'neutral' second.

They’ll have release Leafeon and Glaceon fairly soon, Soub as they’re gen IV (they’re really dragging it out aren’t they)

Sylveon is gen VI so will still be a while.

Sorry, Baroness, but that’s good news for me as I still haven’t got the Feb Spinda and picked up the 5 great curveball task late yesterday

What are people's tips for the special tasks day tomorrow? This is what I learned for the Feebas tasks day in January:

• have a load of eggs ready to hatch - get some in incubators in advance
• switch to a 1km walking buddy
• use saved pokemon encounters to catch for '10 nice throws' tasks
• if there's some hatch an egg or get a candy for walking with your buddy tasks, delete them and come back to them later if you're not likely to trigger them just yet.

Was there anything else that people did to help complete as many tasks as possible? I don't have much time tomorrow which is annoying!
