bigchris The best way to get rare candies are through raids and research quests. The higher the raid you do, the more rare candies you are likely to receive.

There are also several research quests around at the moment offering rare candies as a reward. Just spin every PokeStop you see to increase your chances of finding them.

bigchris I definitely delete research if I don't want the reward! I'll probably clear them all in advance of clamperl day (depending on what I've got). That being said I've got a kids' party so I probably won't get to join in at all!

High level raids for rare candy, you can get loads.

bigchris I delete most of them. I have over 500 spare rare candy so don’t need any more, and the majority of the Pokemon offered I don’t want.

So unless the quest provides the opportunity to get a shiny, I’ll probably delete it.

bigchris Yeah I raid a lot and I’m very precious about what I spend them on. I’ll only spend them on legendaries, and only 90%+ ones.

I tried to rename a wigglytuf 'jigglypuff' and it told me i couldn't use that name as it was inappropriate

speckled someone in one of my groups got the same when they tried to rename a shroomish 'shroom$$'.

I caught a shiny drowzee today! I only clicked on it to see if it was weather boosted.

There is a quest at the moment to get 3 rare candy. You have to catch a chansey tho, but there is a quest for that too (catch 20 luvdiscs) or they are in raids

I'm always talking foul of the inappropriate text. You can't abbreviate a lickitung at all. And googling revealed that a shroom is drug related. Magic mushroom, I suppose.
You can't have ugly either, although fat is okay. DS and I just fall back on Dutch. That gets through all the Minecraft and other game filters too.
