Everything is pink and lure modules will last longer than your phone's battery.

Was it double candy for the lunar event too? I can't quite keep up.

Yes, Valentine’s Day event is double catch candy.

Speckled, shiniest are completely random, I just got lucky with Spoinks during the event. I do have almost 100 shiny mons in total though. The only tip I can give, because it’s mostly just pure luck, is check every Pokemon (that has a shiny version released in the game) they will only appear as shiny when you click on them.

Definitely, definitely check every one that has increased odds of being shiny due to an event (such as Spoink during the Lunar event)

how do you guys find so many shinies?!

SpeckledDot Shinies are completely random and independent, and each individual Pokemon has their own shiny rarity (so some shinies are far rarer than others, for example shiny Wynaut is one of the hardest to obtain, but nearly everyone has all the shinies that have been released through community days).

The only way to be certain you are maximising your chance of finding a shiny Pokemon is to click on every single Pokemon that has the ability to be shiny just to see if it is. You don’t have to catch it, just click on it and run away if it’s not shiny and you don’t want it.

JuniLoolaPalooza No. The Lunar event bonuses were 2x catch XP and 2x evolve XP.

I clicked on every spoink, every snorunt, every delibird, every tailow...... And don't have any shinies from those events.

And let's not even think about the hours spent trawling the town with incense and lure modules looking for psyducks.

BaronessBomburst Yeah, it’s just totally random. Obviously the more you play the more chance you have (eg. if you click on every shiny-possible Pokemon you see but only go in the game once a day for half an hour that’s pretty useless compared to having the game open for every free second you have and clicking on all shiny-possibles).

I got shiny Tailow, Psyduck and Snorunt, but I didn’t get shiny Spoink, Zigzagoon or Delibird.

Ha ha I wasn’t meaning you specifically, it’s applicable to anyone. Like those who’ve played the game from the start but only go on a couple of times a week; their shiny chances are going to be low.

Can I pick the MN collective Wailmers brains on aggrons? I've got 5 now with a mixture of moves (no thunder) and was wondering which to power up. All good IV with 14 or 15 attack. Dragon tail or iron tail with stone edge? Some I'll keep as double steel. One is lucky too. I can't seem to find much on the internet as they're outclassed by tyranitars, but I've only 2 double dark and a mixed (bite/ stone edge) in my tyranitar posse so was thinking about maxing an aggron or two as a rock type attacker.
I've also got a golom.

BaronessBomburst Aggron had their place in the past. They’re one of the best steel types in the game, but steel isn’t great offensively and Aggron’s personal attack stats are poor.

I wouldn’t power any Aggron up now, the stardust is better spent elsewhere, but they can still be useful.

As for moves, Iron Tail and Dragon Tail are close, but Iron Tail has STAB. I would recommend having a mix of Iron Tail/Heavy Slam (STAB) and Iron Tail/Stone Edge

@BaronessBomburst yeah I just was near some quite stationary Pokémon and ones with large throw circles, so it was quite doable to throw 5 great curved in a row. It's not one of the 8 spinda types but one just for the valentine event 😊

I've got the task too.
I thought I'd give it two months before deleting it........
