I'm putting a lucky egg on at 9.30pm to have a mass evolving session in the hope of doubling up on the 2 x XP.

Are either of you able to join in as we're 2 days away from Best Friends and so I believe just the one gift exchange will trigger it at the moment, although I may have got that wrong.

Had great fun today! My Go-tcha arrived and I have balls, balls, balls just from driving around town. DS had one for Christmas so I already know the best routes to take.
I also got a 93% palkia with the top moveset although the second one escaped on me. It was a jumpy bugger and I missed a few balls. Even Mr 40 X 8 had a go and complained about its behaviour.
In fact he had so many phones with him he let DS fight on one account for him.
Then, one of the other players had brought his Switch with him and set up DS with a box. We'll open it tomorrow, with a stack of balls and pineapps, and hope for a shiny Meltan.

Shall we go for the community day egging then? We can send the last gift once the eggs are on; it avoids accidents, although you are nicknamed PAY ATTENTIO (it doesn't quite fit).

What does a Go-tcha do? Is it a console?

A Go-Tcha is a fake Pokémon-Go Plus. It's cheaper and better than the original and because it's a clone your phone and Niantic can't tell the difference. It automatically spins pokestops. You can set it to catch Pokémon too but that's no fun. It's also pretty useless as it only throws one straight red Pokéball, and no berries, so most of the good stuff breaks out and flees. It connects via Bluetooth.
It can spin way faster than a person and still reacts at 80km (possibly more).
I'm always driving and DS gets his knickers in a twist trying to spin for me, and spin and catch for himself. All the nerds have them.

Haha baroness there's a guy in one of my FB groups who is a bus driver and has one. Nice one on the palkia too. Most of my local raiding group have given up as they're so bloody hard to catch.

Sorry about lack of gifts from me, I'm not getting to the high st very often and my nearest stops/gyms aren't giving me gifts.

JuniLoolaPalooza Palkia’s base catch rate is 1%. Don’t forget they made raid bosses far more powerful in a recent update.

I need all the feebas I can get. Currently on 67 I think. I’ve walkes the required 20km to evolve to the milotic but still need more candy

@rupeomatic - Have checked and we still have one more exchange to go (i.e. the next one will trigger Best Friends). I'm now aiming for Saturday at 10.00am for the start of the community event.

Igneococcus When you go up to Level 36 you receive 20 Ultra Balls, 20 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives and 20 Razz Berries.

Your DS will have received them; they’re given automatically upon level increase.

SpeckledDot Sableye aren’t commonly found in the wild, no, but they are pretty useless. The only reason most people raid them is for the chance of a shiny.
