I’ve got an odd situation where I’m in central London, so surrounded by Pokestops but the people I’m with don’t know about P-Go and will think I’m a nut-job if I tell them...

All the “local” Pokemon are coming up as silhouettes, which is unheard of recently, as I’ve caught nearly all of the ones that just pop up.

I posted the screenshot on my local PoGo WhatsApp group and they're all laughing at me - in a nice way. They're in the town. I'm in the satellite village across the river so definitely the poor relation. I'm seeing all kinds of things being posted including a shiny Delibird. Yuk. I prefer the normal one!

@putthehamsterbackinitscage No I'm sat at work and someone came over so I had to lock my phone!! I don't have a clue how to do the battles though - I thought they'd be the same as a normal gym battle but I could barely do anything??

It's similar to gym battles but the shields are different ..

My usual approach to battles has been to use the selected pokemon and just stick at it until each Pokemon dies but my DS is now home from uni and keeps telling me I need to learn types and swap out to the right one depending on what I am battling...

Random question - the gym near us is empty, and has been for an hour. (Its pissing it down with rain otherwise I'd walk up there)

Just wondering why this would be? If someone's battled everything out, why not put their own in? DH and I are most confused!

@Tinkerbellisnotafairy it might be like me where I can get to the gym if I stand in a certain place of the house, on one foot with a south-westerly wind, so I do the battle and then because it brings you out of the gym, I can't then get back in. Nothing more frustrating!

Ah ok thanks @tryinganewname. I've just never seen one stand empty for so long!
