For those of you needing sinnoh stones, here's my tip:
Have ten minutes left on a starpiece. Battle a team leader. Ask DS to do 3 rigged trainer battles so that a) they go super fast b) you win.
Expected result: double stardust on all!
Actually result: 4 sinnoh stones.
That'll teach me.

Hope all got the extra xp on levelling up? I waited 10 mins to open and then had quite a few to get through, so hope I didn't panic you Juni! 5 bests and 9 ultras, ker-ching!!!
Didn't get that many shinies but traded a few normal ones after 1pm with my son's account and got this lucky . Traded the totodiles at 13:58 so was cutting it fine to evolve in time!!
By far and away my most successful CD!

Now I need to get some Sinnoh stones as some of my Pokemon are stuck in evolution limbo till I do. Anyone fancy a scrap?

We only got 2 shinies today one of which got evolved of course. And I am now level 38- 3 million xp till 39! I will still be slogging when I am 50.

I wish they had an icon telling who is online for battles. The current system of just clicking on random friends and hoping one is available sucks.

Maybe we could all agree a battle time like we do with eggs and then try people then? I'm usually around at 6pm as it's kids dinner time. Or 10.30am for baby nap time.
