Finally got my shiny Ponyta and it was a gotcha catch, I thought mine couldn't catch Shinys.

Happy new year fellow trainers! Recovering from some bloody horrible bug here, hopefully I'll be able to eat later today.

This year's first catch: Lantern. Followed by a Santachu. I love the way its hat perks up when you start to spin the ball, and when it's hit the hat reacts first.

I wish Niantic would be more creative with their seasonal offerings, differing Pikachu have become boring. I can remember trying to track down (unsuccessfully) a wild Pikachu, now I just think meh. Over this festive period I must have caught and minced over 100. Yawn.

It's now 6 weeks since I saw a sodding Cubone, so I'm no nearer to getting Meltan. (Dr) Harrumph

You lot catching up coordinating eggs is brilliant, it's a beautiful thing.

My partner is still waiting for a ditto, bless, hopefully by the time he gets to the cubone task there’ll be another event featuring them! Will teach us for not concentrating on it during the event, lesson learnt !

@Bellebp what's the cubone task? I'm still waiting for a ditto too & it's been months, so at least if I can get sorted for a future task that might take the pain away!

Happy New Year fellow poke trainers! I finally got my cubone yesterday. Someone posted in a local FB page of a spawn which luckily was near me, so off I went en route to the supermarket. @Bethh91 we are due to go ultra. Could you let me know when you are going to trigger it please as I'd like to use a lucky egg.

Catch a cubone is on stage 7 ofthe Meltan special research which would have been easy enough a month ago when they were about! Now there a none!

The ditto task is also Meltan but an earlier stage, again there were tons during the event ...

Are you on the Meltan one or the other one that needed a ditto? If it’s the other one then you don’t need to worry about the cubone!

Did anyone get a pokeball for Xmas? I thought it would answer all my battery woes but it’s just as bad. I assume it’s the constant blue tooth connection but it’s disappointing, I might as well have the app open
