I'm already missing the Johto event, not catching shiny Houndoor and Sunkern. It was a nice change to see 'Mon that aren't sodding Sentret.

I'm extremely happy with my catches today! Firstly a 💯 iv dratini from a task encounter and then finally got a shiny plusle which I missed that weekend they were out. 😁

DS1 and I met up with the mackems this afternoon to do some trades. Thanks to the folk here, we clocked up a good distance towards our pilot medals. We also ended up with a fair few lucky pokemon, between us.

I was apprehensive about how DS1 would manage, as he's been finding social situations, even with familiar people, challenging to the point of next to impossible, lately. I made it clear that there was no obligation for him to join in, if he didn't feel able. He got right into it and has been pestering me for more trades all evening!

Was really good to meet up with you and junior today, and the pilot distance was fab. Now that I've got a third Alolan Vulpix I've evolved one to finally get an Alolan Ninetails. :)

We will definitely have to arrange another meet up with you once we've all built up our stashes for distance trading. LOL!

Haven't managed to do any trades with DS once we got home - my phone was so low on battery I had to charge it for a couple of hours before I could go out and walk my Eevee for my Umbreon. But that is now done and I'm on to task 6. :)

I had to go for a walk at 8pm to get the last km on my eevee for that task. Happened to be a handy kirlia raid at a nearby gym, which helped.

And will definitely need to do it again. He wants to hit Seaham, tomorrow, which is instinct gold. We get around!

And I should photograph our power pack stash, sometime! A few of them don't work at all with my honor 9, mind.

Haha! @Ouryve, we've only got three decent power packs between four of us, although the kids do have a cheapy one each, but they're really no good for the phones they have now.

Nice to catch a raid. Was hoping we'd all get to do one together but there weren't any nearby at the right time.

We can sometimes go all day without being in the right place at the right time for a doable raid.

I'm wondering if I should buy a powerbank..

100% get a power bank, I’ve had one for years. Really useful for days out and holidays, even without Pokemon.

I currently get about seven-eight hours of battery when constantly on Pokémon Go so I'm debating it. Just got to find the right one..

That's some battery life! 10,000 mAh is a good amount for a day out. Phone batteries actually work best if you keep them well charged rather than run right down. My favourite charger is a 15000mAh ravpower one. A bit bulkier but it lasts me a heavy weekend.

@SneakyGremlins that's AMAZING battery life. Keep your phone forever, never replace it! We have a couple of decent battery packs here (mostly because we festival, but also useful for pokemoning) and they are good but disproportionately heavy to carry about!

I had to use battery packs all the time whenever I played Pogo on my iPhone. Changed to an android Samsung 18 months ago = don't need to use a battery pack now!

I have a power bank that's a poke ball with a pikachu torch on it I tend to use my more practical boring ones though.

I sent a couple of gifts from Hell Fire today. Makes a change from churches I suppose

I usually delete churches, same as pubs, unless there's something interesting or quirky about them.

I never have enough gifts to give out so they all get used!

I caught a Lairon today too. At 91% IV it was worth keeping too. :o

I got this in a raid today (all on my own).
I’m bored of the available Pokémon about. I’ve got a few gen 3 I need to evolve and I’m just never catching anything I need for the candy. Just endless bloody gulpins.
I did catch a Ralts today which I’ve been walking for months. That’s the first I’ve seen in 3 months.
