I was very ambitious this week and tried to take down a gym in the main station when waiting for my train. Someone was clearly watching with golden razzberries so I had no chance!

Yeah, Miltank used to be in 10km eggs, but even then your chance of hatching it was incredibly low at 0.32%.

It’s not exactly Unown, but it is exceptionally rare.

I found and article saying it’s similsr to Porygons - I’ve had multiple Porygons. I guess that’s because they’re still available in eggs.

Also don’t think I was playing back when they were in eggs - I was a very casual player who’d play for a week every few months! I’ve been playing most days since December, started again when waiting for a train at London Euston and there were Pokemon spawning everywhere!

Got a Wynaut today from an egg which is a new dex entry for me.

I've only got 2 Militank. One from an egg ages ago and one that was hanging around in Soho!

I hatched about five Miltank during the peak of gen 2 - I had no idea they were so rare!

I too am sorry for not sending out more gifts. I’m the fighting feline. I will as soon as I spin more stops! I live in the middle of nowhere so getting out to do them is a bit of a mission.

I have finally hatched an Alolan Vulpix!

I’ve hatched 68 Alolan eggs, and my first Vulpix was my 65th egg hatch Long time to wait, but so worth it because it’s aodrable.

Not bad for an antisocial solo player who rarely does raids, and then only if I know I won't be spotted

Whattodo there was speculation amongst our group and on London Discord and when I tried to investigate further, I found similar comments from worldwide on reddit etc, so no, not just our local group.
Without any confirmation from niantic, you could never be sure, but what it does mean for future days like this is that the majority of ex gyms will be triggered if the turnout is anything like we had last Saturday!
I do wonder though if niantic will change it because it does rather take the pressure off trying to raid ex gyms the rest of the week.

bettytaghetti Fair enough! I just never heard or read anything about it 🤷‍♀️ I doubt they’ll change it; there’s no need to. Pretty much everyone who is a regular raider has at least one Mewtwo already so it’s not as rare as it once was.

GreenShadow Yes, it was believed at the time Zapdos was first introduced that it was the shiny version, whether that was deliberate or not we don’t know.

The sprites for the two really are very similar!

It feels like they are ramping up for something new, all I'm seeing is bloody zigzagoons, and fewer pokemon than normal.

Does anyone else have a switch? I’ve preordered the new Pokemon game and pokeball that comes out in November, it’s supposed to link up with Pokemon Go.

MrsJamin Well, there’s only three Gen IV in that picture: the Gen IV starters Piplup, Chimchar and Turtwig.

Piplup is one of my favourite Pokémon ever, so I’m very excited to see it However, it would be nice for them to box off Gen II and Gen III before releasing Gen IV.

There’s still Smeargle and Celebi from Gen II not in the game yet (though they’ve both been found in the Network Traffic and Celebi has been confirmed to be the next field research task), and as for Gen III, there’s 10 Pokemon still not released into the game (though again, a few have been seen in Network Traffic).

So while Gen IV would be nice, I would much prefer Gen II and Gen III to have all their Pokémon released into the game first.

I have a Switch Kraggle and we’ll probably get the game for my son for Xmas. He loves Pokémon but has lost interest in PGo so hopefully there’s a bit more to the game.

We know that Celebi will replace Mew in the quests and that Niantic have form for mixing up the order of release.
