TangelasVine I’ve never heard that theory and I’ve looked for evidence online... of which there is none. The egg drop rate is what it is; when you spin a PokeStop there’s no way for them to know what eggs you’ve already got in order to give you more of the same.

I'm now level 36, it's taking ages to level up now. I've limited the number of friends I've accepted to 25 at the moment, good news was that one of them was on holiday in Thailand at the time so I have a few Thai meowths ready to trade 😁

I've hatched 10 meowths, 3 grimers, and 6 sandshrews so far. No sign of a vulpix yet.

Wasn't able to play much today and got no gifts to give out despite hitting 5 pokestops. I feel like a rubbish online friend. Fingers crossed for better luck.over the weekend.

Don’t play all year round, only in bursts 3 certain times a year (as the Murkrow flies;) usually summer, Christmas & Easter.

I have still not hatched a Vulpix! I know they’re the rarest of all the Alolan eggs, but still

Of the 33 Alolan eggs I’ve hatched so far, I’ve received 8 Alolan Rattata, 10 Sandshrew, 10 Meowth and 5 Grimer.

Got another 9 on the go as well though so fingers crossed for a Vulpix 🤞

I’ve hatched some good ones, though. 96% Rattata, two 96% Sandshrew, 93% Meowth and a 98% and a 96% Grimer.

Anyway like I've said numerous times its a rumour and fun to hatch all at once for maximum stardust.

TangelasVine I didn’t mean the game didn’t know what you had, I meant there’s no logical in game connection between what egg is in your bag and subsequently that determining what egg will drop.

Yeah, Pokemon Go is a game, but it’s a game with a heck of a lot of complex coding.

I’m not really into the ‘conspiracy theories are fun’ thing. It’s like when you used to get certain people at raids going “Let X throw their balls first, they’re more likely to catch if everyone else waits!” Um, no mate

I do like to align as many eggs to hatch at the same time as possible, though. Time it right with a lucky egg and a star piece and you’re laughing, especially with this event on!

In honour of Pokemon Go’s second birthday, available bag storage that you can buy is being increased to 2000

But other people like me play the game for fun and everyone can play how they like. Continuing with my 10k egg hunt isn't up there with dangerous conspiracy theories and I'm sure David Icke isn't involved. It's harmless and affects no one else but me.

It would also appear Pikachu in his new hat has been released earlier than expected as my entire nearby is filled with funny shaped Pikachu shadows

TangelasVine I completely agree! Everyone should play the game however they want. I play the game hardcore, but I get an immense amount of fun out of it too.

I just don’t think it’s helpful for newer players to be told theories as they will most likely take them to be true. If you have your own theories with no evidence then that’s fine, but it can affect other players gameplay (particularly new players, those rejoining the game or even casual players) if they believe one of these theories that just isn’t true.

I made the mistake of catching as many party hat Pikachus not realising that you can’t delete event pokemon! I have 10 clogging up my storage!

You can delete them. You know that screenshot 3 posts down? Press the bottom right and Transfer from that screen. You can't delete more than one in a go from the page which lists your Pokemon
