YES! Finally got the last ghosts. My regular household spawn is back when there's no event.
Now 10 raids...

Right, if anyone can tell me where there is a ghost spawn sight in the south west I will go there. This is seriously passing me off now!

Bees - I got mine in the early morning. I think when I go to work it's still classed as night in the game! If you have any spawns in your house check your phone in the night. As soon as the event finished I got mine at last!
Also noticed a Misdreavous raid today which could do solo.

BeesAndMist There is a Gastly nest at Exeter cathedral green at the moment. However it is nest migration tomorrow, so there's only today left for it.

Thanks exeter! I’ll try and pop over this evening. I, annoyingly, live in the middle of nowhere. The nearest pokestop is a mile away and the nearest gym is about 3 miles away. This game is very bumpkin unfriendly!

How many do you need? They spawn around the Richard Hooker statue and also more towards the cathedral and round the side (towards Southernhay).

My 5k eggs were Cyndaquil, Stantler, and Polywag! Also caught a Kadabra

I still need another 6 . I was away for a couple of weeks when it first started and I’m struggling to keep up. I only managed to catch a ditto last week! If you see a crazed looking woman trotting around the cathedral green it will probably be me.

Omg Ditto evaded me for ages. I’d caught plenty before but as soon as I needed to for special research I didn’t get one for like 3 weeks!!

I need to go very close to there to pick up a rare candy research task before the end of the day BeesAndMist, so I'll pop into the green and see if there is anyone looking crazed

I still need a ditto - it’s been weeks and weeks!

Found a way to evolve Eevie into Umbreon or Espion if anyone is interested. I used the naming trick first time round but have never evolved one since. Anyway, you walk your Eevie for 10 k and collect 2 candy, then evolve the Eevie you have walked. daytime you get an Espion and nighttime an Umbreon.

I evolved the Espion today, she was in the 2400 range and I powered her up. I'm walking another Eevie so will let you know if the nighttime trick works.

I really want a shiny charmander! Stocking up on ultra balls and razzberries as they are a pickle to catch.

I'm stuffed to the brim with pokeballs 316 ultra and over 400 greatballs. No berries though, I ditched them in favour of potions then they increased storage!

Yes, this Saturday between 10am and 1pm. There will be a shiny Charmander released; it’s a yellow/gold colour similar to shiny Magikarp.

I'm well stocked with ultra balls, too and have enough golden raspberries to use a few on the higher CP mandies.

Yesterday I hatched 4 10km eggs. Mareep, Snorlax, Snorlax and Trapinch. None of them over 85% so all of them have been sent to the grinder.

@SneakyGremlins I agree with @WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue, don't power up anything until you're over level 30. Cherish your stardust. I've only powered up a few 'Mon: A couple of 95%+ Garys, my 2 100% Feraligatrs, a couple of Tyranitars, and whatever I want to use for raids, which is probably only about 20 critters.

Keep on enjoying the game, it's a sneaky (arf) way of getting exercise.

A shiny Swablu caught this morning! Shame it is so low powered.

That shiny swablu is lovely. I managed to catch 2 shuppets at the cathedral yesterday. I had my 2 dc’s with me so I couldn’t really stop for long. Thanks so much for the tip exeter Only 4 to go now which seems doable. I still need to get another 80 odd magicarp candies to evolve, I think that’s one of the special tasks later on?

Two shuppets is disappointing BeesAndMist. I would have expected at least 3 Gastlys in about 20 min going by the spawn rate there over the last couple of weeks.

At least you didn't have a completely wasted journey. And yes, you need to evolve a Magikarp when you get past the ghost task, so make sure you have some pinaps for them!
