I absolutely love statistics, particularly in Pokemon Go as I like to see how much XP, dust etc. I’ve got after an event. So a couple of minutes before an event starts I screenshot my XP, stardust and the number of community day Pokémon I’ve seen so I can compile some fun stats
So here they are...
Larvitar Community Day Statistics and Analysis
I caught four shinies (71%, 67%, 44% And 33%), one which I evolved to shiny Tyrannitar, one to shiny Pupitar, and the other two stayed as shiny Larvitars.
Before the event my personal stats were
XP: 1,394,593
Dust: 1,584,857
Larvitar Seen: 19
Larvitar Caught:19
Larvitar Candies: 2
No. of Tyrannitars: 4 (100%, 96%, 93%, 91%)
After the event my personal stats are
XP: 1,611,188
Dust: 1,643,512
Larvitar Seen: 188
Larvitar Caught: 187
Larvitar Candies: 628
No. of Tyrannitars: 8 (100%, 96%, 96%, 93%, 93%, 93%, 91% & 33% - shiny)
I gained 216,595 XP
I gained 58,655 dust
I saw 169 Larvitar
I caught 168 Larvitar
1 Larvitar ran
I spent the last 20 minutes evolving, so I had roughly 160 minutes catching time.
So, that means I caught 1.05 Larvitar per minute. Roughly 1 per minute, which is pretty good.
I pinapped the majority of Larvitars I saw as I started the event with over 300 Pinaps and before I started evolving I had over 1,000 Larvitar candy (and I only started with 2!).
I evolved a 96%, two 93% and one shiny (which is poor IVs but I wanted a shiny Tyrannitar with Smack Down, and it’s higheat stat is attack so not all bad), as well as one of my other shinies to Pupitar.
After my evolving I am left with 628 candy to finish off fully powering up my 100% Tyrannitar and begin to power up my 90s.
So yes, great day! The game was a bit laggy at times and performance could have been better, and of course the weather was horrid, but other than that I’m really pleased
