Anybody remember this? No? Just me then. I managed to raid and catch Latios yesterday.

Well so much for my hope that I'd hatch a Lapras during this event. Hatched two eggs today- a Magikarp and a bloody Shellder.

There's a special circle of hell reserved for whoever puts the crappy disappointing Pokemon's in 99.9% of all eggs.

I'm looking forward to Community Day for a number of reasons, not least seeing people I only see once a month. Walking around shooting the shit with people I like is another one. I'm not too fussed about amassing more Larvitar candy, I have about 280 and 4 90+IV T-Tars and might evolve my 2 98% Larvitars to get the special move.

Currently I only tap on 'Mons that have the potential to be shiny (or if they are Squirtle or Mudkip) but have struck out on shinies completely. Ah well...

TinselAngel During this event, I want to hatch the Pokémon that have a chance to be shiny! Especially Shellder as I already have three shiny Magikarp.

For the duration of this event, I hope I hatch as many Shellder’s as possible in order to increase my chances of encountering a shiny.

It’s also why I’m specifically looking for the Absol and Shellder tasks; to increase shiny chances.

I desperately need Larvitar candies to power up my 100% Tyrannitar (it’s already Level 31).

I also want as many good Tyrannitars as possible, so I will be pinapping the majority of Larvitars I come across. So happy I’ve managed to save 250+ pinaps.

I specifically booked this community day off work You can never have enough Tyrannitars.

The shiny rate is increased to about 1 in 22.

rainingcatsanddog It’s possible. Raids don’t change for community day; they carry on as normal.

Got both Mewtwo today but at 80 & 76%, bit disappointing! My first was 96% so anything's likely to be a disappointment after that!

Got a shiny shellder & wailmer yesterday, so think that's my luck used up

My highest from last time around is 89% so hoping for 90% + this time. So far no luck, nor no shiny Kyogre.

There were 14 of us in the raid, biggest I've ever done!

We’re only a small town but every so often (and for every ex-raid) we have to split into two groups as you can only have 20 in a group.

LUKATIM!!! My 1st shiny since Mareep day and it's only Kyogre. :o I admit I may have made a little squeak of delight...

Here is a timeline of shiny Pokemon

So, for all my non-community day shinies, I got:

• 1st shiny Magikarp six months after release

• 2nd shiny Magikarp six months after release (within two minutes of catching my 1st shiny Magikarp!)

• 3rd shiny Magikarp ten months after release

• Shiny Swablu two days after release

• Shiny Pichu seven months after release

• Shiny Wailmer one day after release

• Shiny Omastar one day after release

That is also the timeline of which I discovered them, too. So quite a mix of waiting time there. Quite a long time for Magikarp (then two at once!) and Pichu, but the others within one or two days.

My 24 other shinies are all from community days.

Congrats Sneaky & Doctor on your Kyogres! In the first one that we did we had 9 accounts and 4 of us got shinies. Since then nada!

Caught no 2 today (91%), 3rd ex-raid is 21st.
Easy to catch, thank goodness.
I'm also on 1 shiny Kyogre of 3.
Caught my shiny Swablu yesterday - bringing my total shiny stash up to 37.
I'm now gathering level 1 trash to fully evolve for my fun Mons. So far I have the following:

I have 4 10cp Karp that are ready to go.
My DP fucked me over by evolving a CP46 Gary, then TM omg him to Bite/Crunch. Arse!

I'll be mainly hanging out be ex eligible gyms, in hope.
I'm certain I'll find several. I have a local street that yield obscene numbers.

I'm looking forward to community day. I only have the one ttar. Might have to take ds2 because ds1 did venture back into pogo just on weekends, on the last community day, but he rage quit after not catching kyogre, on Saturday. We didn't even manage to clean up to the yanma we travelled to harvest.
