Congratulations Wartortle88 I checked all mine - 89% was my highest.

The weather wasn't in favour of decent sheep for us, today. In fact, I only caught one above level 20 that was better than decent. Caught 6 shinies, mind and evoked 3 of them and still have a ton of candy.

Congrats on all your high mareeps! The best I caught in the wild was 70%.

Well that was fun! Practically falling asleep from counting mareep! Got two that were 90+% IV, so evolved those to ampharos and also still have almost 900 mareep candy left. Also got 4 shiny mareep & 1 shiny pikachu, which made up for not getting any shinies on the last two community days. And managed to join a legendary raid so now have a Latias (only 84% so not brill, but hey, you can't have everything!)
Oh, and the dog is completely whacked now from walking around for 3 hours!

I only managed to get one ok shiny Mareep. Lost out on a very good Charmander - threw a few decent Pokeballs at it then it fled!

Howeer, I did manage to finally throw an excellent curveball at a Ponyta I was trying to catch for the evolve 5 fire pokemons task so I finally have my Mew

Currently lvl 34 team instinct, DS is 4.5mths so doing a lot of walking around with him and playing at the same time.

Had a great day today-got a 91% Moltres, a shiny Mareep, levelled up and finally got my Mew!

Here she is, evolved and fully powered! Congratulations everyone on your shinies!

I haven't had the chance to get out at all but caught three rather rubbish mareep in the house. My DS phone finally broke so having to head into town soon to pick up a new one, he is heartbroken without his Pokemon go! He is getting my phone, I am getting the new one as he is only 9 and will probably break the screen 🙄

I'm 'only' missing Tauros, Articuno & Zapdos from Gen 1 but have a few more holes in Gen 2 so hoping they might repeat this event for the Johto region soon.

I just managed to nip out for an hour and don’t catch any shiny. Then went out again for the last 10 mins and got one! It’s not that good but better than none.

Only got one shiney. I’ve also been to a park I rarely go to this afternoon in my desperation to catch a bloody ditto.
Sick of it now.

I went out with the raid group at a local park for the event, and there were about sixty of us there, we had to split into three groups for a Latias raid just outside the park.

I managed to get six shinies, so I have my first complete three set of shiny evolutions, as I only managed two shiny Bulbasaurs and Dratini at those events.

Those who've done previous Community Days at that park said that the spawns were paltry today compared to the others, but they all agreed it was probably because of the Kanto event, so the spawns should be more plentiful for the next one - unless it coincides with another event.

We walked straight past our park, today. The best spawns were right in the city centre. You could barely move for sheep around the marketplace and cathedral.

I am also trying to get a ditto. Ever since this even started, I have only seen 3 pidgeys and no rats. As much as I love being able to get all these kanto pokemon (still no aerodactil though?), I would like to get my fucking ditto so that I can complete this task.

I did a park/city loop and definitely thought the spawns weren't as plentiful as previous community days, in both locations.

In other news, we're on day 36 of Blisseywatch (no Chris Packham, you can't have that one!). Every time I get notified a Blissey has come back, I get hopeful it's my Lost-In-Norfolk one! Bit worried it might come back with big bushy eyebrows à la Desmond from Normal for Norfolk, given it's just down the road from that café.
If there are any mystic or instinct players that fancy taking over the Wiveton church gym with a pathetic pidgey, I can highly recommend the pub next door (Wiveton Bell) for lunch afterwards! Very good food.
Interesting aside; I've just noticed that Blissey sways perfectly in time to Gorillaz' Hong Kong!

The spawn rate was really high for most previous community days, but for this one and the last one (Bulbasaur) they completely nerfed the spawns and the high IV ones too, so it’ll be like that for future ones too.

I did pretty well. Spawn rate seemed pretty good in my local park.

2 shinys but with pretty poor CP/IV but I did get a 98% IV / (about) max CP which got evolved immediately.

Like others thought I bought incubators and filled 3 before the event. Luckily I didn't have any 10km ones so managed to walk enough to hatch the 5km ones and refill.

I managed to catch enough Mareep for two full evolves today (think I had some candy in the back anyway). The last two days like this I barely saw anything around so was very happy to see them!

Today was brilliant. I got 8 shiny sheep and my pink Ampharos is now atop a gym which also has pink Flaafy and Mareep. Only one of our group didn't get one, but said she was having lamb for dinner :o Those of us who had a pass then went on to the Ex Raid. 7 Valor and 1 Instinct went first, as we Mystic types were waiting for 2 stragglers, then us 8 went in. There was a 100% catch rate so I now have Mewtoo. I am doubleplus chuffed.

I evolved a rubbish Mareep by mistake and didn't realise about the reduced egg distance. Oh well.

How long do I have to catch Mew? On part 5 now.
Due to this event I'm racking up the magicarp candy at least.

I caught my third Mewtwo today, but again it’s 84% (other two are 84% and 87%). Still, I have another ex-raid on the 23rd so will hope for 90%+

Betty where abouts in Norfolk have you lost your Blissey? I live in Norfolk so If it's local to me, I'll kick it out for you
