WhatToDo I know, that’s one reason I chose it It has the lowest numbers in my area but only slightly, if the number of gyms it holds is anything to go by.

I'm up to almost 1000 Karp candy after the past few days out and have barely touched the pinap berries. I still don't have a shiny at seen 420, caught 401 :(

I'm building up an awesome machamp army, though and pinapping plenty of rhyhorn and magnemite to collect candy for gen 4.

I’m Mystic as DH chose before me and we wanted to be on the same as it makes it easier in regards to gyms.

Had DH not been playing I would have gone Instinct as yellow is my favourite colour, however I’m very glad I didn’t as they really lose out in raids; they always get the lowest number of balls as they have fewer players to get team damage advantage and rarely have gyms due to the same.

Can anyone please explain how the following is happening?

I live next door to a gym, small village. Only two other houses could reach the gym from inside.

Gym has been taken over by opposing team so I battle it. Snorlax, blissey and chancey. Best them all first round, go in for second round and notice they’re all back up to full health. Thought ok, odd. Best them all again. Immediately they’re all back up to full health and a charizard has appeared. Nobody in the road outside. Possible they could be next door but I don’t have my neighbours pegged as gamers.

Beat them all again, straight back up to full health.

It would take a lot of raspberries to do that, ime the more you chuck at them the less hp it adds each time? Could they be spoofing it somehow?

Oh and I waited thirty mins, went back again and same thing happened.

MrsTylerJoseph They probably used golden razzberries, which immediately restores a Pokemon’s health to full with one berry. You can do it remotely too; you don’t have to be anywhere near the gym.

If I want to be gold on a gym I will golden raspberry every single Pokemon in it as soon as I notice it’s being battled. So if someone gave up and then restarted again half an hour later, so would I; I’d restart my golden razz tirade

The Charizard could easily be unrelated, either a passer by you didn’t notice, a neighbour or a neighbours guest.

You can use golden raspberries to restore a Pokemon in a gym to full health. You can feed your Pokemon in a gym from wherever you are.

We have a pair of potheads in my local park that tend to take over gyms together and something similar happened to me when I tried to take down a gym they were in. I walked a bit further and realised they were sitting out of sight on top of a little hill overlooking the gym and watched as they did it to a couple of other unsuspecting players whilst waiting for my dog to make sure every squirrel was safely up in their trees. Have learnt to watch out for them if trying to take a gym down with them in!

Another Moltres today, hardest Pokemon I’ve ever caught. However bloody sick of trying to get a ditto.

WhatToDo I like an underdog The gyms around me are pretty even most of the time between the three teams with Instinct slightly behind but not by much. Also, not knowing anything before I started I play by instinct so figured it suited me best

@CollyWombles I can guarantee there will be at least 20 people at our community day ranging in age from about 6 to 65. Some of us are in our 50s :o Usually when we meet for Legendary Raids we are a maximum of 8, so days like tomorrow are great for catch ups. Plus we are making plans for a group trip to London in the summer, so that'll probably be the June Community Day.

I've spent half the afternoon clearing rubbish from my Pokemon storage. I've cleared 315 spaces following my new rule; IVs must be over 80%, or it must be a shiny or I only have one of them. I just need to clean S-Z.

Agghh, they just did it again. Can people get an alert put on their phone to say when their gym is under attack or are they just glued to their phones? I beat all 4, came back for round 2 and they’re all up to full health.

Sometimes you get a "Fred needs a treat" message when someone is battling the gym Fred is in. (It doesn't always happen though!)

Removing people from gyms at this time of night is considered poor etiquette around here. People will often have their coins for the day, so if you wait until midnight they will get tomorrow's coins.

I'm currently keeping a very close on a gym for the next 30 min. It will be berried if anyone tries to take it

Hmmm, well this is “my” gym and I like to make it unattractive for others by booting people out straight away.

People may well want coins for incubators for community day tomorrow. If you wait until after midnight and try again, they will probably let you take it.

I'm always missing the community days. Got a kids party tomorrow. Apparently I need to supervise my kids and not catch pink sheep

It's not late into the night that people don't like, just the 45-60 min before midnight. The general feeling is that if you are going to do it at that time of night, it is more considerate to wait until midnight.

Some people might want to play them be in bed by a more reasonable time than now.

The aggressive mystic players must have the local gyms gold now as I rarely see them close to home. Back to swinging between yellow and blue. Thankfully not every hour any more!
