soupforbrains Thanks! I was at work during the beta ex-raid back in October so had to give DH my phone and he didn’t catch it for me unfortunately, so I’m really glad I’ll get to be at this one in person

Yes @WhatToDoAboutThis2017 it was very distressing. It's remarkable how high stress the Ex Raids are I must say. The 98% runner nearly made me cry. It was just pure bad luck. MewTwo stands a comfy distance away and has a nice big circle so it's not hard to get curve-great throws repeatedly. That damn thing just didn't want to stay inside the ball. Que sera sera

Didn't realise Instinct were a minority on here - in my home town we rule the roost!

GreenShadow It’s not just on MN. Worldwide, Instinct are the team with the fewest players, by a very long way.

Chester le Street seems to be the only consistent Tyne and Wear mystic stronghold, unless I've missed any north of the Tyne. Durham is all out war between instinct and Valor, with instinct being the early morning crowd and Valor kicking us all out, late at night (sometimes at 4am )

It's mainly red team around here and yellow seem to be up in the middle of the night.
I'm blue and didn't give it much thought at the time.

I'm sometimes working at an office that is a gym at the moment. It's quite funny seeing loads of people gather outside for a raid then disappear again.

Woo, level 35 finally! I went to the hospital for an appt this morning only to find out it had been rearranged for May without them telling me. So I went and did 4 Rayquaza raids instead :o caught every single one as well!

I hope you managed to lucky egg a few of those raids too Rue

Its really interesting to see how the team splits differ! I work in a university town and there are a fairly even number of valor and mystic then instinct are in the minority. However, instinct do have some really dedicated players (plus air supporters) so the gym split across the city is fairly equal normally.

I haven't had an ex-raid pass since I was sent the one for Ireland! A lot of the local raids have been before 8am and long quiet phases so there's not been much action to get to. Then there's the issue of other people's interest making them viable.

UrgentScurryfunge See in our town the majority of legendary raids get hit; there’s always several people about and able to do them. Of course it’s much easier with Rayquaza as you can do it with 3 if you’re all good players, rather than Lugia that requires 12-15.

Had a very good day while out 'shopping' in the nearest big town today.
Started by hatching my very first Bagon then found a Surskit nest and went from only having one up to twelve with plenty of candy to evolve into a Masquerain - only I then also found a wild Masquerain as well!
Caught three more Anorith (only had two before).
I also caught a high CP/IV Aron which I had enough candy to evolve straight through to an Aggron.
Pretty satisfying all round.

I’ve had a good day too; done a lucky egg evolve session and gained myself 100,000 XP and increased my Hoenn dex count to 98

I'm on 103 for Hoenn. I'm very happy about that.

It would appear that the Lugia thays been re-released can be shiny, so there’s at least a slight positive in it being brought back.

I have five mewtwos and a new pass for next Saturday. I do raid in the park next to the hospital where I work and in the park in the town where I live so get ex raid passes pretty often. Yesterday I went a bit mad and did 10 raids in a row! First and probably only time I’ve done more than three in one day and got an ex raid pass from one of those raids.

I did a lucky egg evolve too today and made the most of the last of the double xp. I’m going to miss it.

Hopefully we won’t need to many for lugia now we are all higher levels than last summer. I’m now away all weekend so won’t be able to do a lugia raid till Monday.

Yeah shiny Lugia is confirmed. Some chat about a 100% catch rate. Apparently all catch reports so far for the shiny are first ball catches. No one has reported not catching a shiny.
