Only one I can find was a range I didn't pay attention to so thinking that's what's I've done each time, possibly just playing when tired. I do do that a lot as I'll sit in the evening going through my Pokemon to make sure I have catching space for the next day.
This one was basically a Pidgey which worked out to an average 56%, evolved to a Pidgetto which said 59% (again average). When I go into possible IVs the Pidgey has 53.3, 55.6, and 57.8. As a Pidgeotto it has 53.3 or 64.4. So it averages out to different amounts but I guess it'll be 53.3 as the only repeat. I usually pay attention to ranges and mark that on my spreadsheet but if I'm tired or doing a lot at once I won't pay attention as easily.
And if I'm the only person who has a spreadsheet as well as the game and Pokegenie then 
I don't use it as procrastination when I'm working at all.

Yeah, it's pretty well documented that IVs don't change, as that would be really shit if you caught a good one and after evolving it it changed
Looking at my own PokeGenie, I don't have a single Pokemon with a range; all of them have one specific IV percentage.
The only time I've come across ranges is when I first put them into PokeGenie, before I set the appraisal, but once that's in it settles on one percentage.

Very few of mine do seem to have a range so that could be why I'm missing it. I knew IVs weren't meant to change so the first time this happened to me I assumed I'd typed the wrong number. But it's been a handful of times now, I obviously need to pay more attention or just get rid of a Pokemon as soon as the appraisal doesn't help to get one exact IV. They're usually the lower or middle of the road type IVs anyway so I usually only keep them if they're the best ones I have from that Pokemon (for things like pidgeys it changes a lot as I always evolve the better ones first). I have an obsession with making sure every single Pokemon is marked with its IV before I trade in the worst ones so that maybe doesn't help either.

I don't bother PokeGenie-ing anything I don't want to evolve and keep; so I never bother with Pidgeys and the like. Only really Pokemon that will make good fighters; the ones where you want the best possible.

Did you see the video with the 70-something Spanish guy who's level 40? One thing he said was that he's trying to get every Pokemon to have an IV of 90+ and that's pretty much how I've been since I started checking IVs. When I started the game I was just happy to keep on filling my pokedex but now it's pretty full I've given myself a new goal to keep me motivated. DH thinks I need help. I know I don't need to check all the little ones really but even if I got a crap CP 100% then I'd keep it and not use it, just to have that 100.

That's brilliant, he must be a welcome sight at raids too. I've got a long way to go, 20-something 90+ IVs so far. Best are a Nidorino and Magmar, both on 98. I've found it a good way to keep me interested when I'm getting bored of the same few spawns around our area at least. I'm between projects at work as well (work freelance from home) so all the data entry playing with spreadsheets has kept my brain busy and happy.

Oh he is He says he likes the extra challenge too, as he's completed his pokedex (except for the unreleased ones) so it keeps him interested too.
I'm just glad he's on my team!
My three highest are 96% Tyrannitar, Machamp and Magikarp (soon to be turned into Gyarados), then 93% Tyrannitar and Snorlax.
A 98% Magmar is good because you'll want to save that one to evolve into Magmortar in Gen IV

DD just hatched a Swinub from a 5k. She's gutted.
She shouldn't be! Mamoswine is coming in Gen IV and you want the best possible swinub for it, so one from an egg will be perfect
Mamoswine is such a beast of a Pokemon, and my DH has saved well over 1500 candies so he can have an army of them when they come out. He pinaps every swinub he sees.

I'll tell her that, hopefully she's not transferred it then. 
Although I made the mistake of telling her that there's a Murkrow evolution in Gen IV and she won't stop talking about it and asking when it'll be. I've told her we need to get through Gen III first but it's like she doesn't care about III at all now I've told her the Murkrow isn't totally pointless.
I have to say I don't know anything about all the newer Pokemon, I was an original game player and that was it. So I'm having fun learning all the new ones but when the kids talk about Pokemon that aren't released yet I'm completely clueless at the moment.

Very quiet for me the last coupla days, nothing much from eggs except scythers.
Lucky! I've only ever seen one Scyther and never hatched a single one, so I'm nowhere near a Scizor (which would be really useful for Mewtwo on Sunday!).
