I got an ex raid pass too. Also for Sunday at 12. Are they all happening at the same time?

We have quite a busy group of raiders and lots of us got passes as did many in the neighbouring town, all of them start at 12pm except for one person in our group who's pass says 7am? We have no idea why his is different given that every screenshot I've seen from anywhere in the world, they all start at 12.00 in their given timezone.

He's not that active a member in our facebook chat and hasn't been back on since it became apparent he was different to everyone else.

I'm currently walking 3x 10k eggs and a Mareep buddy... its a long slog for that candy!

When I should have said:

You have as many chances as possible within that hour to beat it, but once you do beat it, that's your only chance to catch it.

Someone in our group had that error, and another one had an error that said San Francisco; when they looked again, the errors had been corrected.

They're just errors; he's still invited to the 12pm raid at the named gym.

Congrats to everyone who has their ex raid passes! Bring on Sunday does anyone know what the base capture rate of Mewtwo is going to be? Horrendously low I’m assuming!

Hatches today were another Mareep, Larvitar and Chansey, which is another new Pokemon for the dex. I’ve got two 10km eggs cooking nicely, so hopefully they’ll bring something good. I am with Dillite2 and do not want another Porygon! Make sure you stay away from any kittens when they hatch

I got a 96% Mareep from a 2k this morning, my second ever, which is nice.

Oh, the base catch rate for mewtwo is 6% cotton which is higher than the birds/dogs and I believe higher than all of the current tier 4 pokemon too (5%)

Anyone else not got anything decent from the event eggs yet? Would love a snorlax or a Chancey.

I hatched a Mankey today. I've also caught a few recently. It was my last one of the available gen one a while back and I remember walking with it for ages...
I'd quite like to complete the medals and fighting is one I need some more for so not complaining!

I posted the event egg distribution earlier, porygon and dratini are by far the most common from 10k eggs and the most decent stuff seems to be in 2 (larvitar and Mareep)

I caught this little fella yesterday after a raid, hopefully that means it will be a 100% Feraligatr.

Today's hatches were Porygon x2, which brought 60 candies between them, a rubbish Omanyte, and an almost equally shite Chansey. Here's hoping tomorrow brings better hatches and a good evolve sesh.

Any ideas what was going on here? It was spinning and sparking like there was a battle going on. It's not and has never been a gym. You do get spawns around that area though.

That generally only happens when appraisals aren't set correctly, because the IVs do not change on a Pokemon in the game when they evolve.

Nope I've been careful with my appraisals, I use a spreadsheet to note them all before going into PokeGenie and then use the same ones for the evolution. I'll see if I can remember which one it last happened with and double check as I don't think I'll have deleted the info on the pre-evolution one. It might help me check if it was a range which somehow narrowed down after evolution. It's happened a few times so far.

Does IV change through evolutions?
No. But, you do want to keep in mind about the movesets as they change randomly through evoltions. DPS is an important factor in this game and can be found here: pokemongo.gamepress.gg/pokemon-moves.
