Niantic told Japanese users in their weekly newsletter that Halloween Event is definitely happening and that Ho-oh will make an appearance in EX Raids in December (no idea if latter is worldwide)

Anybody finding Suicune ridiculously hard. I’ve been to 5 raids and only caught 1. With the other legendaries I average about 50%

I started this morning 1/9 on Suicune but ended on 3/12. I'm not using golden berries though, not unless I come across a good one.

I'm at 2 out of 3. The first one was 91% so I was pleased with that. For Entai I was at 9 out of 10 which seemed brill but then it went pear shaped and down to 9 out of 15 😂😂😂

Come to think of it my decline in catching rate is probably linked to not using golden raspberries so might not be as odd as it initially looks.🤔

I need an event, I really want to do an evolving session but I am hanging on!

Agree re Suicune. I am 1/5 and it's taking a lot of work to bring down in the first place, never mind catch! I finally have the hang of the little jump he does whilst in the catch phase that caused me to lose a lot of balls first few times!

The feature where you can see the number of trainers in the lobby worked well for me - couldn't see anyone else around obviously gaming in Covent Garden this weekend, but there were 15 of us in the raid!

Spoofers seem to favor Central London gyms. Last time I was in London, I think that I was the only person physically there.

We randomly stumbled upon a Suicune raid yesterday so joined in. It was brought down after a lot of hard work and with only seconds to spare. There were about 18 of us and only 3 people caught one. One guy had 3 phones and managed to catch on 1. We didn't get any and DD was devastated.

I wouldn't have expected it to be hard work with 18, we did it with 12 last night and I only had two Pokemon that needed to be revived. The minimum I'm happy with is seven, we have had a party do it with six who managed it with six seconds left.

You must have all been really low levels, or the majority of you.

I've done it with eight and had just under half the time left. All level 32+.

I know that some said that they were level 28/29. I have no idea about others, it was just a random group that I saw hanging out on the corner and asked if we could join. I am level 33 but do have quite rubbish grass types mostly tbh.

Nearly just got locked in the park. I suppose it would have given me time to take the gym back. No idea why they were locking it up at 7pm though.

My last 10k egg from the event had a Snorlax with 96% IV. Well worth the 4 billion km it took me to walk it.

New one for the Dex too.

I just spent 3.5 hours putting every single pokemon through pokegenie and binning everything that was less than 80%/ not the only one. I now have 400 spaces in my pokemon storage.

If you only have one Snorlax it might as well be one with 96% IV's 😏

Dillite. Nice work. I'm slowly doing the same. I'm trying for over 90% but that's not working out too well. 😖 I think I'm a bit of a hoarder.

Ive started looking at the move sets more closely and I end up wanting to keep even more Pokémon so I have a range of movesets.

I think I'd have been happy with rubbish IVs on the Snorlax. Just Militank left to get from the 10k eggs.

I've just done the same with pokegenie. Got rid of a load of stuff that was taking up space.

My Flaafy isn't the greatest. On the appraisal screen it's "caught attention" which is decent but 2/4 on the descriptions. Given that's the best out of the handful of Mareeps I've ever had, I'm not sure how long I could face holding on incase a better one hatches. I've walked it since about 25 candies, around the end of the fire and ice event, so a good 3 months (I haven't benefited from events for it)

I'm gradually improving the quality of my pokemon and transferring weaker ones as I evolve the better IVs. Under the old gym system I was evolving the highest CP to get them into the best gym position to stay in. The new gym system is definitely favouring quality.

I noticed when I fed some nanabs to a Gyrados this morning, that I got a couple of candies back. I knew that there are candies, but that's made me wonder if it's connected to the candies/ buddy system e.g. is it more generous with low milage candy than the 5k buddies? I rarely seem to get any candies back for feeding Snorlax, Blissey etc...

I have never noticed getting any candies when feeding Pokemon in a gym. How do u know u got some?
