Yes, they are. I had one run in front of my car many years ago. Thankfully no accident occurred but it was both beautiful and scary at the same time!

Has anyone got a gold gym badge yet? Considering how fast you fly through plain and bronze, gold seems very tough! I have one about halfway there now, and I think I will only ever get my local 3 up to gold.

Katy - dont give up on 10kms and start doing 5kms - they just removed those very pokemon from the 10km pool and put them in 5kms!

I have been watching and reading with interest, thank you for all the hints and tips! I've done a few raids now and am enjoying them, also finding the new gyms much better as I'm actually getting chance to put my mon in (never did get chance before).

I'm planning to go to the event in Chester with my family so that will be fun!

As far as I'm aware, the blue line doesn't go down. It only goes up as you get closer to silver, gold etc. And resets when you move up.

My gym badges all have different size blue lines and one of the gyms I have a mon in had a blue line just over halfway full earlier this evening but when I looked before it had no blue. Strange.

Did you go from bronze to silver and not realise? Or plain to bronze?

Yes I have a silver badge now at that gym, I didn't realise your gym badges can be increased and was looking at the defending gym medal below for different levels. That's exciting, thank you for your help!

No worries The higher you are, the better rewards you get. So it's worth interacting with gyms to try to increase your badges.
